We hired 2 bikes whilst on holiday in Filey and have to say how helpful Richard and his wife were to us, very knowledgeable and friendly. Bikes were great, an electric and hybrid, both delivered and picked up by Richard. A great customer experience!

For updated information following current restrictions, please visit our website. At the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in Hunmanby, we’re making the county’s first single malt whisky. Our guided tours (£12.50) offer an insight into a working distillery & visitors can enjoy exclusive tastings of our maturing malt. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy a proper cup of coffee and locally sourced food from Pot Still Coffee Shop without participating in a tour.
An unexpectedly excellent visit during a day out in Filey. Welcoming café followed by the most informative and highly interesting distillery tour. The whisky sampling topped off a fantastic experience. Should be on the itinerary of anyone visiting the area. A true gem.

In a converted Yorkshire Bank, this lounge style 'pub' is quite unique not only in Filey. We spent an hour chatting to the hosts about the conversion from Bank to Lounge and had a good look at the original bank vault which is now one of the lounge rooms. If you visit Filey be sure do stop here for a great welcome and terrific service

Lived in filey all my life and my highlight of growing up is when my dad used to take me to sterchis for a little bag of chocolates and sometime even a chocolate lolly.. I used to come in and get my grandad sugar free sweets/ Choclate as a treat when he was in hospital. Now all grown up my own little family love sterichis too, advent calendar are loved. Our favourite chocolates have to be the doubles and the truffles.. definitely think you need to try make large doubles with the chocolate drops. ????.... thank you. Christina.

Great measum it is two cottages knocked together. The lovely lady who runs this is happy to answer any questions you may have. Well worth a visit, this measum is run voluntarily so any donations would be used well. Keep places like this going as they are few and far.

A well maintained and clean arcades. Face masks are compulsory and you must leave your phone number for track and trace which is a good thing in the current climate. We did visit on a bank holiday weekend and it was busy but you did feel safe knowing that everyone was wearing masks and social distancing
