Looking for something different to do in Norfolk? You've just found it. Here at Axes & Escapes you can learn the skill of Axe throwing in our safely controlled bowling style lanes. Once you've hit your first bullseye, we're sure you'll be hooked. Or try our variety of Escape rooms which are uniquely designed with a series of challenging puzzles.
We booked the murder mystery escape room for my daughters birthday but had to cancel due to Covid. The owner was very helpful, telling me to re-book when we were ready. Today we escaped! The four of us had a fantastic time. The escape room was challenging enough (we had a fair bit of help from the owner who watches on monitors and offers help when he feels you need it) but not so hard my 13 year old solved some of the problems. We didn't complete the task in the hour but were aloud to carry on and finish. We got a lot of satisfaction when we solved the mystery. Lots of parking and excellent staff. Highly recommended.

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy to complete the objectives at hand and escape the room.
I left 4 hard-to-please teenagers (mixed group of 15-17 year olds) here to do the Disaster Strikes Escape Room. This was their first experience of any escape room and they loved it! They found the layout challenging and stimulating and had the perfect amount of hints. They are keen to do more now, which is a ringing endorsement, and we will definitely be back to try the House of Evidence. PS Covid safety was excellent here, great attention to hygiene etc

Apparently the only extant complete Town Gasworks in the country, the story of town gas which was the gas everybody knew before the advent of the methane based we use today is well told with all the equipment used on show. such Industrial archaeology must be preserved and I respect and admire the tireless volunteers who man this museum.

At Langham Glass we pride ourselves on quality through craftsmanship. Come and see our visitor centre in the heart of Norfolk, with easy access to the North Norfolk Coast. Langham Glass is wheelchair friendly and accessible; the ideal place to visit with the whole family. Experience a fascinating live glassmaking demonstration with informative commentary from a member of our glassmaking team. Visitors to our glasshouse can see our team of glassmakers using age old techniques to create our well know and collectable finest handmade crystal. You can even create your own masterpiece alongside one of our glassmakers.
I love watching glass blowing. I think it's fascinating how a blob of glass can be shaped into so many different shapes. The demonstration shows how different shapes can be formed (we saw a bird, a pig and a vase being made) and how colours are added. The commentary was very interesting. Covid-19 safe measures were in place and face masks had to be worn throughout. The shop was well stocked with a large range of glass items at prices to suit all pockets. There is also a chance to make your own piece of glassware. There is a cafe on site but we didn't take advantage of it, but the smells emanating from the cafe were delicious.

Visited the Megafun play area only with my 5 year old. It all felt very safe with respect to COVID - clean, good one way system, lots of sanitiser and limited numbers. It was so nice for my daughter to get back inside a soft play!

First visit to this lovely cinema. Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cinema is a real gem. I suspect we will go often. Excellent value for money. As they have sofas in two of the screens I fear that if the film wasn’t very interesting I might nod off as they very extremely comfortable!

Wow is the word to describe this spa. From the moment I arrived I was treated with friendliness, attentiveness and respect. The decor is amazing and I instantly felt relaxed. I spent a lovely hour in the pool which was beautifully warm, before being whisked off for an absolutely amazing full body massage and facial by Rachel. At the end I felt like I’d spent a blissful year at a spa retreat in Thailand! Rachel thought of my every need without me needing to ask and I felt thoroughly pampered. Fantastic place, cannot recommend it highly enough. Ali was amazing, so welcoming, caring and thoughtful. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to go back.
