The sushi chefs are fun, creative, and will custom make you something you can't find anywhere else. They have Japanese beer on draft, and cooked/baked dishes as well. Bonus: the desert is hand made fresh every day - always something different and always devine.

Wokano is a new gem in the MarketPlace. It serves sushi and a large variety of Asian fusion cuisine. Mondays are all day Happy Hour with discount priced appetizers...not a bad deal. The Hot & Sour soup is a must, and the dumplings are to die for. Parking is plentiful too. I definitely recommend you give Wokano a try for lunch or dinner. You won't be sorry.

The sushi here is fabulous! Fresh, fresh, fresh! But it's not for beginners or those who rely on California rolls and other combination rolls. This is the real thing! Straight sushi or sashimi if you prefer with just a couple of hand rolls. Oh, the blue crab roll!! The owner prefers to give you what he chooses in the order he selects. On your first visit, he'll ask if there is anything you don't like so he won't give you any of what you don't like. After that, he never seems to forget. And if you want to choose your own, you can. We always trust his choices but occasionally ask for something else and he knows when we've eaten our fill because we always ask for another blue crab roll at the very end as our dessert! Never had any like it anywhere else. Katsu is the chef. His wife serves. Lovely people. Only complaint is the hole in the wall decor. I'd love to take a few buckets of paint to the walls and slap some fun art on top. It wouldn't take much to spruce it up.

I had the best time of my life when I had dinner at this place. Kelly waitress was so funny along with Wacha (sorry for spelling wrong). I Had fried rice which was done very well. She was cracking jokes along with owners behind the counter. Next visit I am going to have Sushi. It is inside El Camino Plaza in a corner.

Always fresh meats, fresh vegetables, and fresh seafood. I was told about this place by a friend back in 2001. Overtime we visit the Souther California area we make at least one trip here. Our last trip we ate here three times in seven days. This is a very modestly appointed place but don't let its appearance fool you it is the best I have ever had. Everyone I have brought here says the same.

Located in the northeast corner of the I-5 and 17th Street in Mimiâs strip mall with access via Carroll Way SAKE2 ME SUSHI, a culinary mecca for Orange County sushi-lovers, offers the standard AYCE array of appetizers, sushi pieces, cut rolls, hand rolls, special rolls, and limit bento box selection for lunch and dinner. Based on convenient location, sufficient parking, pleasant surroundings, food selection, and service, on a scale of 5.0, I would give it a 4.5. The quality and the freshness of the seafood is above average. We arrived at 11:30 am on a Wednesday (no lines) were seated quickly. The Cons: The service was spotting, meaning that some of the servers were mentally somewhere else and not focused on customers. The Pros: I ordered Octopus sushi pieces (4.0), Salmon Skin rolls (4.0), Mixed Tempura (4.0), small Seaweed Salad (3.5), Eel hand roll (4.0), Salmon Collar (5.0), SNS special roll (5.0), Green Goblin special roll (5.0) and Tustin Blossom special rolls (5.0). The last four were absolutely delicious worth the price of the lunch ($21). These are slightly smaller portions, but with a really good seafood to rice ratio. I was shocked to discover that they have an all day happy hour (Mon - Thurs) with the small Sapparo bottled beer for only $1.50. At this point, this is my go-to-place for a Japanese lunch and for the AYCE sushi feast.

We use the highest quality ingredients to create our inspired dishes. At Mizu, we offer a unique fusion of Japanese and Korean flavors. Our master chefs can help with your selection and will artfully prepare dishes that will indulge your senses.
This is not the typical sushi restaurant you find on any corner of the city. Rather, the restaurant itself is hip & upscale. More importantly, the sushi & it's sauces are very good and different. This restaurant hails from Silicon Valley, so the food tends to be cutting edge in taste & presentation. I particularly recommend the appetizer: CITRUS-SEARED SALMON SASHIMI - delicious! My only complaint is the plate is small, only four pieces. I would love to see this as one of the entrées.

This was a true find for us. We were told about this place by regulars but put off going there for some time... That was a mistake. The visit was probably the best we've had for some time. Everything we ate was tasty, and that included appetizers, salads, entrees, and dessert. The service was excellent, checked in on us regularly, but not intrusive.
