We came here for chivito (baby goat) which was available. It was tough and dry. Not recommended. Service was fine. We paid 990 pesos for four people including drinks. No entre no desert no coffee.

We walked quite a way to get to this place but it was worth it. Itâs a great mix of white table cloths and rustic wooden boards to eat from. We went on a weekday evening and it was still quite busy. Though there were around 50 people in the restaurant I was one of only four women - not that it mattered. We sat upstairs which was great for people watching. This place does everything that Argentina is known for, great service, steak, & wine. I never did bother to find out why it was named patio de la Canada.

Nothing great.ordered the "cabrito" ( the goat). just boiled meat with no taste as such.the vegetables served were stale but were not charged.the wine collection is good. waiter is super nice.Overall, I do not recommend.3/5 - grading.cost me 1600 pesos incuding tips. 2 people. including small bottle of wine and beer bottle.

If he hadn't mentioned this restaurant or given us their card, i don't think we would have found it.We meandered in towards the end of lunch time......the waiter brought an "appetizer" of eggplant w/toasts. (There was no cubierto).. We ordered a salad of the house w/hearts of palm. It was underwhelming, except for the hearts of palm. The cheese in the salad was tasteless and canned string beans did not go over well with us. Should have ordered a different salad. The chorizo was different from what we have had in Argentina and NOT to our liking. Would not order the chorizo there again.BUT.....................the lomo was excellent.....and jugoso, just the way we like it. It was a portion large enough for the two of us and we didn't leave a morsel on the plate.We ended with a very good cafe. No room for dessert.We DID receive a 10% discount for paying in cash(pesos) and with tip the bill was $23.00 US. Can't beat the price, the quality of the meat and the ambience.Thank you, Marcos.Dear morewierd,We greatly appreciate your opinion and put special attention on those aspects that were not to their liking, to improve them. This is an old fashion local restaurant characterize for its rustic environment and traditional spanish dishes. A very popular place within the local community, you will probably need to wait for a while to get a table (specially on weekends). Waiters tend to be in a constant rush trying to flip as much tables as they can so if you are not fluent in spanish try to have a little of patience with the service (he will not have it with you).Food wise, the place its very good with affordable prices. Some of the fish dishes are simply outstanding and everything its freshly prepared. Although everything its very good here, I would recommend you to choose from the specials and avoid the meat dishes since its not their specialty. Not the best environment to eat but a great place to have a good meal. Solid choice for sure....

The menu is varied, but the meat is delicious. Also the wine selection. The restaurant is picturesque and very well located. The personnel efficient and helpful. Ask about what is the meal (parrija) before selecting, since some local meals may not be to your taste after all. The deserts are also very good.

Excellent food, delicious flavors, best array of grilled vegetables, live-on-table prepared desserts, especially the one where they burn the rum in the apple pie, it's just amazing.Lovely cozy decor, friendly staff, very social owner, what can I say, this place was recommended by my father-in-law and sure enough, it was beyond my expectations. I hope everyone has the same experience as mine. I read some negative reviews but honestly I really doubt this place could do anything wrong.
