Ricar2 Resteruarnt is located on the road between Dominical and San Isidro. Our location sits in hills above the City of San Isidro with spectacular views of the city and mountains. Ricardo's menu is a reflection of his Costa Rican heritage combined with
Went to this place tonight, we usually go to another place close by for the view but decided to try this place. Menu was a lot more extensive. I had the grilled ribs, wife had tuna.Rib was pretty good, potato good and the salad was good, they do have Olive oil n balsamic, big plus. All in all it was a good meal, the only negative was the wiater, bigger guy, was kind of rude. Don't know what his problem was but he was short and maybe impatient? Maybe needs some customer service skills training.
We are a family restaurant that specialises on tilapia. You can choose to fish your own or not. There are many options available as to how you can have it prepared. Don't feel like eating tilapia? No problem. You can choose from our famous grilled pork ch
This is a great place to go with a group or a family. You arrive and can grab a fishing pole and start fishing your own tilapia or buy a little bag of food to feed the coi in the coi pond or go for a little ride in the rowboats which my kids love. (Not sure what the weight restriction is but a big grownup can almost sink one!) If you don't have any success catching a fish don't worry they will still fry you up one they catch for you!It has a beautiful open feel, swings and thatched roofs over rustic tables and chairs. A lot of the table bases are actually antique sewing machine bases. You can take great photos here. There are a lot of trees and flowers so keep an eye out for all kinds of gorgeous birds. A main meal of a fried fish will easily feed 2 people. Comes with rice and HUGE patacones (fresh homemade plantain chips) and pickled veggies (escabeche) Be sure to ask for lemon wedges (limón) to squeeze over your fried fish, delicious. Great fresh smoothies too. There is a little sandbox and toy area for toddlers and little kids to keep busy while you take your time eating. Just love it here.Thank you very much for such a great review. We love having customer like you visiting us.
Place of inspiration and contact with nature. The restaurant offers 180 ° view of the natural environment, with remodeled facilities according to an open and personalized concept for each group or person that visits us. Ample parking and accessibility fro
Un menú delicioso, he probado ya varios platillos y no dejan de sorprenderme, con calidad en cortes de carnes, frescura en vegetales y ensaladas. Lo recomiendo.
Where to eat Latin food in San Isidro del General: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We ended up on the terrace of this restaurant with hungry children and even if the service was painfully long (you're in Costa Rica after all) and the terrace full of smoking expats (we are not used to cigarette smoke smell while eating any more in Canada...), the food was incredibly cheap and delicious. Try the Taco doble with French fries. Really good. The burgers were pretty good too... and HUGE! The 5 of us ate for less that $18 and we left with some leftovers! Obviously, you don't go there for the athmosphere, but it is perfect for lunch!

Beautiful little mountain town is classic growing Latin American city. Teeming with life - youth - families - working to enjoy their life on the planet. Friendly people, authentic small city, non-touristy, beautiful, clean, great spot to practice your espanol! Lot's of local food available, a beautiful drive over from the coast. Great spot to enjoy some local culture and engage a new Latin lifestyle.

We eat often at Casa del Marisco because we have a home nearby. It is our "go to" place for everything from 4 choices of made-today ceviche to a heaping plate of seafood rice. This is the place the locals choose. We also often buy take out - seafood soup - enough to serve four is a bargain.

I went there with a couple of friends, the first impression was the PERFECT customer service received by a lovely sweet young lady. We ordered a pizza, and it was extremely good, tasty..it was just perfect! The coffee was just regular, Im sure they can improve the coffee quality. We experienced an incident with a sweet corn that we ordered, we found a hair in it. However, it could happen at any place, the difference is how the place react and resolve it. In this case, they apologized inmediately and offered to change it or order another thing. We really enjoyed the service, the food, and we were happy in the way that they resolved the incident.Place with nice music, very calm environment, they have a front yard as a parking lot, wifi, clean bathrooms.
