Second visit to this restaurant in the space of a few weeks and will certainly return. Both times had the menu del dia and at 10 euros can't go wrong. Only negative was the intermittent service. Having received the starter quickly and the main before we finished the starter we then had a long wait for the dessert. But given the price and quality will certainly returnThank you very much Ken for your comment, we are very sorry for the wait for dessert and we apologize, this could be due to the large number of menus that we serve every day. Thank you

We love the new outdoor seating area at Karma, it's certainly buzzing on Friday and Saturday nights. The tapas menu is excellent value, tasty and freshly prepared. Tonight we had 6 tapas, 4 beers and 3 glasses of wine and the bill came to just â¬15.40. You can't get better value than that! We originally ate here in January and we were not impressed with the food but seeing some of the dishes coming out tonight, I think we need to give it another chance. Top marks to the young girl who was our server last night and tonight. She never stops, always smiling and happy to help us understand the menu. She is a great asset to Karma. Sorry we didn't get her name.

the service is friendly and good the food good with just right size, the tapa is free when you have a drink. however they are only open Friday to Sunday
A popular and busy restaurant in the Barcelo resort. The lamb chops are excellent but while the food is very good the service especially from Irma was really oitstanding.
Four of us wanted a light lunch before going out to the lagoon for some flamingo-spotting and Soto seemed a nice spot with a view over the square. The proprietor was dead friendly as he took our order and all seemed to be going swimmingly, including us asking for two different plates of huevos revueltos, each without ham to cater for the vegetarians amongst us - though youâd think huevos revueltos con champinones y esparragos (mushrooms and asparagus) wouldnât have too much ham anyway. And the proprietor gave us to understand he got why we had ordered as we had, too. But it was not to be - the salad and chips and bread basket arrived ok, and a medio-racion of cheese weâd providentially ordered, but the generous plates of huevos were both generously laced with tiny pieces of ham, too small to fish out of the egg and broad beans and mushrooms and asparagus etc, even if weâd wanted to. It just wasnât worth making a fuss about so I at least filled up on bread and cheese instead - but vegetarians beware...

Restaurante La Taberna de Joaquin, un pequeño negocio familiar ubicado en Fuente de Piedra situado en la provincia de Málaga. Con más de 20 años de experiencia y con un servicio inmejorable. VisÃtenos y deguste nuestros productos.
We had several terrific meals and especially enjoyed JOAQUIN who seemed to be everywhere; he even owns the nearby super Mercado. The best dish is the Pluma Iberico, juicy Iberian pork fillets. Tops among âportionsâ are the fried baby squid that are light and flaky and very fresh. If youâre in Fuente de Piedra, itâs the best in town.
