Reviews on Spanish food in Cochabamba, Cochabamba Department, Bolivia. Cochabamba (Aymara: Quchapampa, Quechua: Quchapanpa) is a city & municipality in central Bolivia, in a valley in the Andes mountain range. It is the capital of the Cochabamba Department and is the fourth largest city in Bolivia, with a population of 630,587 according to the 2012 Bolivian census. Its name is from a compound of the Quechua words qucha, meaning "lake", and pampa, "open plain". Residents of the city and surrounding areas are commonly referred to as cochalas, or, more formally, cochabambinos.

I havenât seen many vegetarian restaurants in Cochabamba, so when I heard about Nina, I wanted to go there. It is a small place, more like a café. One can choose to sit inside or outside. The food is good, but the menu is simple. At daytime they offer a complete lunch, but at nighttime they only serve panini and pasta. I was hoping for a soup, but i chose a panini, which was very good. We also drank chai and limonade, which was delicious. Great portions of food and drink and friendly prices.
My only complain is that is placed 4 blocks over the second circumbalación so is a beat far most caps will charge about 20 bs to get there .The food and prices are great , I had a Lomito Zamora , is the best bbq I ever had flavor wise and softness of the meet , they have shows on fridays and saturdays , it only opens at night so be aware of the hours , just call in doubt

We did enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the music CD that was playing was ok. It was a cold evening and we didn't feel very warm inside though, so a little more heating would have enhanced our experience. The paella was right on par and the Serrano ham was how it should be. Would recommend.
Nice restaurant with good food for a fair price. The menu had lots of variety and the service was also good.

The title of my review says it all. Bagu serves up some delicious steak! Our waiter was friendly and helpful. He helped us navigate the menu so we knew what cuts of meat we were ordering. The prices were incredible compared to what I would have spent in the US for a steak that large.

Don José SolÃz conocido por su carisma e iniciativa en el año de 1939, en compañÃa de su esposa Doña Elisa Lazarte Ayala, inicia esta tradición elaborando las empanadas de receta ancestral para su venta al público.
These empanadas are of course not compared to my grandfathers or grandmothers homemade empanadas but these are also amazing! The bread to cheese ratio is perfect and they are given to you right out of the oven. Definitely come here to eat cheese empanadas!

I liked this place I went here once and it was great. If you have any kind of special order that you might want made they will normally make it for you if they have the proper ingredients to make it. Parking there kind of sucks but if you take one of the local taxis or taxi truffies it will be fine.

Fairly priced and good service, but they could be a bit more experimental with the food. It feels like a chain even though it isnât one.
