The trading house "Bolshoy GUM" is the oldest store in Vladivostok and even in the whole Far East, the successor of the traditions of the Russian merchant class - it keeps pace with progress. The history of this unique enterprise goes back to 1893, when the trading house of Kunst and Albers was located in a building built in the style of German Art Nouveau by the architect Junghendel.
This is must see sightseeing place. The building is very beautiful especially at night. If you go inside there is Zara shop, where you can see nice old interior. If you take entrance, which is on the left side from Zara, you can find souvenir shops. I liked MatryoshkaDesign gift shop with contemporary items.
