Britain's only gallery devoted to Mountaineering and Landscape Photography with almost a thousand square feet of hanging area. There are always two or three themed exhibitions featuring the mountains, landscapes and peoples of all seven continents. These change every four months. The Gallery is open 7 days a week and admission is free of charge. The emphasis and ethos of the gallery is on viewing rather than selling but 10% of all sales goes directly to Third World Projects.

We are a family business which has been dealing in good traditional Victorian, Edwardian & Early 20th Century watercolours, drawings and oil paintings, antique maps and prints for over 30 years. Our large gallery lies in the centre of the historic market town of Sherborne. All our paintings are carefully selected as good or outstanding examples of artists’ oeuvres. Subjects include marine, landscape, sporting, portraits, still life and genre. Quality, condition and presentation are very important to us and our team of conservationists and framers all have over 25 years experience. Watercolours are presented in conservation mounts with hand painted washlines and framed appropriately for the period. We hold bi-annual exhibitions of newly acquired paintings, for which we send out free colour catalogues and email alerts to our many collectors all over the world. Please feel free to add yourself to our mailing list by contacting us.

We spent a great couple of hours exploring the brilliant maize maze: Nell aged 3 was thrilled to find the castle and the dinosaur! The adults were relieved not to need the rescue team! After the maze Nell played on all the fabulous outdoor toys including trampolines swings and Wendy houses. Such great quality. She spent her pocket money in the wonderful toy shop (it's brilliant!) I suggest if it's hot take water into the maze with you and as it's on a slope wear sturdy footwear (we didn't and survived!) This is the first year of the maize and it's great. Would have stayed Longer if there was a cafe but I understand one will open soon! Staff were lovely and the attraction is well worth a visit!

Renamed the Station Emporium & Cafe it is crammed with an incredible variety of antiques, curios, retro items and odds and sods at eminently reasonable prices. Everything from marble topped French dressing tables to old galvanised watering cans! The owners are friendly and willing to do a deal and to do a deal if you buy several items. If you like individual items which are not mass market you'll enjoy this place!
