The fried cod is now formed into a long fish stick unlike the fish of the past- Cedrics and Fish and Chips days. Still good but not as good. Crinkles are almost non-existent. New menu items like Redfish look interesting. It's always a break from burgers.

We ordered some of their special drinks and they were really excellent: Rye Manhattan and Cider Old Fashion. The waitress was informative and fun, but I never got my Beer (LOL).The Fried Oysters were very good. The Grouper Special was very good. I ordered fish and chips and a Caesar Salad. The Salad was too NYC, pretty but no substance; six baby leaf's with a parmesan crisp and 2 tiny anchovies. One could starve with that quantity of lettuce. The fish and chips was disappointing; fish was mushy in a crisp breading and didn't taste like Halibut; the fry's were limp.Disappointing at $45/Head!

Low country boil, Cajun spiced seafood restaurant and bar.
My husband wanted something different (but didn't want to go out) and since we hadn't tried this place (and he LOVES crablegs) I suggested The Juicy Crab. My opinion of the place wasn't helped by the names written all over the walls and doors. But I get the fact its supposed to be cool. Whatever. It was a busy Sunday evening evidenced by the fact there were numerous people waiting for tables. There were also a good many call-in orders lined up behind the counter. There were also a few in line to order ToGo.After giving my order I asked and was told it would take about 10 minutes. It took a few minutes longer but that wasn't a problem since they were obviously busy. Once I got home hubby and I sat down to eat. I'd ordered everything with garlic butter and mild but his order of crab legs had a definite spicy heat to them. My order of one pound of shrimp did not have any spicy heat, like, at all, so don't go telling me it was the garlic butter. What was the main reason for 3-stars? The price. Hubby and I have had lots of seafood. Lots. A good bit of that was fresh seafood. This from Juicy Crab, while tasty, is way too pricey. Yes, I appreciated the fact the shrimp had been deveined but shelling out $50 for 4 crab clusters, one that was missing two legs and another that had a nearly empty claw and skimpy meat in the legs is not something I'll do anytime soon.

Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar Oysters , Shrimp , Grouper , Flounder , Scallops , Catfish , Burgers , Sandwiches , etc... Great for Large Families Full Bar with large selection of Craft Beers Large Patio for Parties
I was traveling with a large group and allowed to make a reservation. We were there for a birthday dinner and it was disappointing. We were hoping to sit inside but space inside is very limited. The patio area is larger than the inside. However, the patio area could use some work. Sitting at sticky plastic 6ft. folding tables that have been turned into doodling stations was not a great setting for our adult birthday dinner. A simple and cheap upgrade; cover the plastic folding tables with Kraft paper or linens or dollar store table covers. The patio was air conditioned but blowing warm air. The food was okay, not greasy. Service was slow. This location is at the river not on the river, so there is not a view of the river. The patio has a view of the parking lot. The parking area was fairly large so we did not have a problem finding a spot.

Staying in Augusta and needed a Steak fix. The reviews and menu looked pretty good so booked a table for a birthday dinner. We arrived early to have cocktails at the bar. We were ignored for about 6-7 minutes! Ordered a martini and a âcool as a cucumber cocktail. The martini was on a happy hour special but not the cocktail, didnât make sense. The cocktail was great though. We both ordered steaks, both were cooked perfectly as ordered. Once again the service was sort of lackluster and dampened what could have been a very good meal.Thank you for dining with us. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed everything about your meal, but please accept our apologies for the initial wait your experienced. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction and look forward to earning your 5-star review.

My husband and I went for the oysters and were disappointed. They were small, dark and a bit smelly. On a good note we also had the catfish chowder and shrimp with feta dip which both looked and tasted homemade and was very good.

We visited the French Market Grille on June 18, 2019 for lunch. We all had the lunch specials, Jambalaya, Fried Shrimp, Rice and Beans. All entrees came with fresh salad, delicious rolls, and unlimited sweet tea.Our waitress was Nadine, attentive, professional and great personality. She actually looked us in the eyes and waited until we replied to our requests! We have visited some establishments where they rush away without listening to our orders and requests!Oh, I had the she crab soup; absolutely divine taste. This restaurant could shame some Charleston resturants. The decor and ambience was very pleasant.Next time we are in Augusta, we will definitely dine there.

Went by Wednesday to pickup to pickup 2 $7 Bang bang shrimp.. A little disappointing, found out later you do not get bread anymore unless you ask and the shrimp unfortunately just slumped altogether probably from sitting already made for Wednesday nights. Most of the time it is good though. You kinda get forgot in the pickup zone because of their wait list..

My wife and I visited last night and the overall experience was so wonderful. Victoria was our server (again) and she is perfect. Sheâs knowledgeable, funny, but also doesnât constantly bother you, she just serves well. The food is always delicious and the presentation keeps getting better. The charcuterie board is a must as are some oysters. We tried Rockefeller and broiled this time. The salmon dish was spectacular as were the scallops. It is our favorite date spot in town!
