We were staying a few minutes down the road so decided to have a dinner here as I'd always been curious having driven by many times before.
The restaurant area itself is dated. So from a glass half full perspective you could call it old school charm or romantic. However, the decor and lack of cleanliness of the furniture just make it feel old and tired.
As an example, my fabric chair had multiple large obvious liquid stains in the seat cushion. And whilst I hope it was clean, old stained furniture and carpet don't really make you feel at home. A pub meal at pub prices? Sure! But they seem to want to be a fine dining establishment, so the environment, furniture and cleanliness doesn't really match.
The food itself is pretty descent. I elected to have an assortment of entrees as I wanted some variety and none of the mains stood out for me. My wife who is vegetarian ordered the Ravioli. My dishes were descent and my wife enjoyed the ravioli, however was still hungry after.
We ate with 2 Kids, and at $15 each the kids meals seemed just a little pricy for what was served.
Service was attentive and pleasant, although with only two tables occupied in the restaurant one should expect that.
So whilst we didn't dislike the food, we just really didn't find the restaurant itself a match and as such the experience was soured. I would argue that when paying $40-50 per head, you really want the whole dining experience to be pleasant.
That being said for our other two dinners, we elected to eat in Marysville and found overall better value and dining experiences there, albeit without the 'old' (read tired) feel.

Just stoped in for a coffee before going on a walk, lots of locals taking a morning coffee, cakes and pies looked good, quick self service reasonable prices, and seats in the sun.

Elevation 423 Bar & Cafe offers a mix of tables, couches and bar stools in a warm cosy environment, with big bi-fold doors to the great outdoor deck area. There's an ever-expanding food and drinks menu that includes pizzas in the afternoon and evenings, and we're licensed so you can top off your day with a quiet ale or fresh sauv blanc while the kids warm up with a hot chocolate. We cater for large groups and events, too.
Visited for the day to see the falls. There were very limited options of places to eat, this place had the biggest and most appealing menu so we decided to stop for lunch. So glad we did! Food was amazing! Had the Baramundi and the only downfall would be I would of liked a larger portion (due to me loving it so much). Was nice to sit outside and peacefully eat lunch.
Would definitely recommend eating here

We visited the restaurant as we were staying at the vibe hotel and it was recommended to us. The service was extremely slow and unresponsive, 1 waitress staff member in particular paced the restaurant and avoided taking orders. The food was underwhelming and overpriced. It also took a very long time to come out with several other patrons around us having to prompt staff several times as to how long before their food was coming out. I recommend trying somewhere different.

Henry VIII Manor House is an experience. Not necessarily the eating experience you are looking for, but an experience! It won't be your destination but rather somewhere to get a drink and stop while travelling. When you first arrive you may be met by a host that has you thinking "what the!" and smiling wryly to yourself but if you stay longer and afford Dennis them time to talk you will learn that during the Balck Saturday fires they lost everything and almost their lives with only five mintues to spare. They had been at Narbethong for twenty years running Henry VIII and it was all gone. As soon as they were allowed back on their property they re-established serving pancakes out of a tent surrounded by the black scarred landscape. This may go towards explaining his vigour. They do their take on a high tea :) pancakes or scones with tea or coffee and a couple of other items. We opted for pancakes. A delicious stack made to order arrived at the quirky set table in amongst a plethora of "stuff" while we envied the amazing steaming scones that arrived at the table next to us. We laughed, we laughed so much, as did the table who ordered scones and the young couple that walked in midway through our pancakes and wondered what they had struck. We purchased home made pies to take on the road with us and when paying our bill were presented with some of the hot scones we had envied complimentary.
Go with a smile on your face and be prepared for interesting service. It's worth it !!I

Went there for lunch on the long weekend and my wife took the special of the day "Bibimbap" and then she spent all afternoon, night and morning in the toilet.

Opened at the beginning of March 2017, Terracotta is Marysville’s newest restaurant. Surrounded by the scenic beauty of the golf course the restaurant has, arguably, the best location of any restaurant in the area. Terracotta offers a dining experience for those who love food. Supporting local producers and wineries the menus reflect seasonal availability and have a range of dishes to suit all tastes. Open Wednesday to Sunday, with dinner served, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Terracotta is also available for groups, events and special occasions. It is worth a visit.
From the service of mine hosts Chris, Barb and staff, to the serene location, every box had a tick of wow. The wine list is outstanding and married well with a scrumptious menu. The lamb was mega delissh as was the trout mousse entree. We...MoreThank You for your comments. We're delighted you enjoyed your visit to Terracotta.

Last minute cuppa before we headed home and we found this place to be lovely. An iced chocolate for my travelling companion and milkshake for me. Both of them were excellent.
The staff were fabulous and very friendly and chatty.
I noticed that they cater for dietaries which is nice as I'd like to bring a friend of mine who is dairy intolerant.
Do love the little gifts and items that are on display and for sale.
This place is well worth visiting.
Good parking out the front. Child friendly. Wheelchair accessible.
