The best place to enjoy the best pizzas and empanadas in Junin de los Andes is "Rivendel" on the 234 route, the atmosphere, attention, staff and pizzas and empanadas obviously, the name of pizzas in the menu is very funny. i recommend it 100%.

After climbing Volcan Lanin, we were keen to treat ourselves.
Nuevo Ruca Hueney was just the spot to hit the diverse taste buds of our group.
It is difficult to believe but there is a significant Middle Eastern community in Junin de los Andes. That is why this restaurant offers both traditional Argentine fare (parrilla BBQ) and Middel Eastern cuisine.
The restaurant is family owned and they go out of their way to treat you well.

Tanto en 2015 como en 2017 no tuve otra opción que ir a Juanito. En ambas ocasiones estuvimos buscando otro lugar abierto y no encontramos. Las dos veces, el señor Juan nos atendió bastante mal. La primera vez pedí pastas gratinadas y cuando le pedí queso rallado, se rió y bromeó con otro cliente diciendo que las pastas gratinadas ya tenían queso. La segunda vez pedí varias empanadas y una era de un sabor que no había pedido y encima eran chiquitas. Al pedirle la cuenta me contestó de mala manera diciendo que estaba muy ocupado (habían llegado varios otros clientes). Tardó muchísimo en traerla. Me dieron ganas de irme sin pagar. Por supuesto, no lo hice. La comida no es mala pero la atención sí.
