Reviewed By Vijay MI always feel peaceful and homely when I stay with FN resort Kollam. The location and the way they have created cottages or rooms is amazing with lakeside and also privacy. Food service as Buffet lunch or dinner makes you feel it’s economical spending. Though I have stayed twice it’s going to be my stay place for ever when it comes in mind about Kollam visit. The front office people Renju and his team are very friendly and cooperative in terms of everything. If we can say value for money it’s Fragrant Nature.

Lake n River Resort is a resort project by SKB at the lake-river confluence in Munroe Island. SKB group of Business first ventured into the homestay business at Munroe Island in 2010 having had good guest responses and reviews, the Lake n River Resort project was launched. Resort is located at the banks of the Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, spread across 1.8 acres of land at Munroe Island, with water bodies surrounding three sides of the Resort like a peninsula. Eastern side of the Resort faces the river and the Southern and Western side’s face the lake. Accommodation is designed so as to provide the guests with the relaxing backwater experience of Munroe Island. The resort has 9 rooms for stay, a mini conference hall, a kitchen, a large dining area, an open terrace restaurant and a welcome area. Reviewed By arunvarkey2001Had a wonderful time at Lake n River resort.The staff did an excellent job in seeing that the guests are kept informed and entertained,special thanks to Deba and Anchitha.The resort is decently maintained and the location is excellent .The suite room was spacious with a large balcony.The canoe trip was interesting and not one to be missed out.Food was also good.All in all it was a lovely experience.

Reviewed By Ginza PWhat a heaven on earth. So peaceful. Away from locals. this place is for nature lovers. Water front. Boat ride available(nearby). Food available just talk to the staff they will hook u up. Board walk at the back side of the hotel. I (female) was alone there for 7 days but felt so safe with the staff. Staff was amazing. Sanal treated me like his family. I will give 100/100 for the service. I can't wait to go back. I realy enjoyed fishing. staff was so generous to make arraignment to cook the fish that I caught . Very clean. Close to Munroe island.

Worst ever experience
Reviewed By rajasekharann2016The rooms were having foul smell. House keeping is pathetic. Facility is not at all maintained. Lights are not working, bathroom doors are broken, full of cobwebs, beds are shaking. The attitude of the Management was horrible. When pointed out, the reaction was surprising. No hospitality at all....they asked us to vacate the rooms and said they will reimburse the booking amount.....Imagine a person made advance booking and travelling from long distance!!!!! Only good thing was the boat ride however, no safety for the passengers ensured. Even in the pool, where pedal boats are kept for the children. Food is standard. Stay was horrible and a nightmare. Similar opinion received from past visitors too but was unlucky as I received it after my visit only.... Never again......

Just tropical paradise, amazing morning sunrise on the river ,best property hotel in the area ,super friendly staff ,very nice rooms or cottages ,people just leave you alone to enjoy the holiday .Bespoke meals cooked fresh . Individual cottages or suits. Resort has security gaurd and has perimeter wall for safety .Lots of wildlife good fishing on the river.
