When you are skiing this winter (or hiking in the summer) and you want to enjoy the "spirit of a place like CHEERS go to Liberty in the town of Telluride and Poachers (in Mountain Village) at the top of Chair 1 - Meadows ski run! Poachers offers great comfort food for lunch and dinner and beverages for everyone. Apres Ski head to Liberty! In both places everyone will soon know your name!
This was a good old school bar, fun place to drink, good beer selection and prices, pretty good music selection, and a few tvs to watch a game, pool tables, darts as well.

We were in Mountain Village during the off season when not much was available for dining. This pub was a very nice surprise. My turkey wrap was all fresh and my husbandâs roast beef sandwich hit the spot. Very impressive, especially when they were the only restaurant available in Mountain Village at this time of year. Kudos!

Welcome to The Phoenix Bean. Located next door to The Historic Sheridan Hotel and Bar. Delicious coffee, great food, friendly service, live music, smiles!!
The hostess at The New Sheridan recommended the Phoenix Bean, as they did not have availability. Willing to try a new spot, we went. Very disappointing. Inside was almost empty. Nearly all of the tables were dirty, and we were informed we would stand in line to order. Staff was distracted and inattentive, as they were focused on the patio. Orders for clientele ahead of us were mixed up, service was slow, food was cold. We fetched our own water, drinks, cutlery and napkins. The special comes with no side dish. By the time we paid for additional items, the bill was equivalent to a real restaurant that provides table service.Thank you for your feedback and your review. I apologize that you were expecting a fine dining experience and found yourself at our coffee shop. We do serve some overlapping menu items but the setting is very different between the Chop House and The Phoenix Bean. I apologize that this was not properly communicated to you. If you want to experience our steak house, I hope you will give us another chance to show you a great experience. Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak hours. All my best,Ray, GM

While recently visiting my daughter, a resident of Telluride, she took me to 'The Cornerhouse', where she regularly goes for Tuesday night Taco Night. We were there on Monday and it was Trivia Night-such fun! Kenny, the owner, welcomes regular patrons by name when they enter, and this gives it a 'Cheers' atmosphere. Although we only came here for a few drinks, I highly recommend and will return. The food is pub food, and not as costly as a lot of Telluride establishments. It is fun because a lot of locals come here!

Telluride does not have much nightlife. The Brown Dog was the only place with more than a handful of people at 10 pm on a Saturday night. Drinks are pricey but not out of hand. Filled with Red Sox and Fenway stuff. Lively.
