We live in Wolfville and decided to support this new, local business. There is a nice outdoor seating area, and the inside decor is new and fresh. There are lots of beer and cider choices on tap. Our server was friendly and attentive. Those are all the positives.I can't recall being so uninspired by a menu. This is a pub and there are NO FRENCH FRIES! You don't have to have them, but to not have that choice was annoying. The choices of sides were "baked potato, spicy rice, salad". I do not want a hamburger and a baked potato, nor do I want a clubhouse sandwich and rice. Nothing deep fried on the menu -- good for people's health. Perplexing for people who occasionally want to indulge.I appreciate that they are trying to do something different, but it took me 15 minutes to order because there was NOTHING I wanted.I had a spinach salad with blueberries, feta cheese, almonds and shrimp, which was fine, but nothing special. The spinach leaves all had the stems on, which is a peeve of mine. My partner had the beef dip with spicy rice. He said it was tasty, but he, too, was mystified by the menu. The dessert menu was limited. We had the chocolate brownie, which was a large serving and the brownie was delicious. The prices were high for what we got. Two entrees, 3 beer, one coffee, and one dessert was $72 before tip. $85 for a dinner that we weren't really keen on seems like a lot.If you don't like or want fries, we would recommend. If french fries are part of your pub experience, you won't find them here.Service was good and we did not wait for food.

I wanted steak and lobster because I am in Nova Scotia and lobsters are the thing to eat here. Unfortunately so many surf and turf restaurants are now closed until the spring, so I settled on this place. I knew they had lobster and steak but not together, so I had to build my own by ordering the two meals together. They were not willing to cut any sort of deal on combining the two, so it was $28 for the lobster and $16 for the steak. And the verdict is that the lobster was worth it and the steak, not so much. I think the combo somewhere else would make more sense, and I would be inclined to eat here again with more pub-fare type food.

We had lunch at The Church yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Three of us had the burger and it was delicious. Probably the best burger Iâve had. We had Caesar salads with them and they were delicious too, One person had the chicken burger and he raves about it. We started with the polenta fries and we were a bit disappointed with those. Iâve had them before and they were much better the last time. The beer was good and cold. Service was great and the place was packed. Will definitely be returning next time Iâm in Wolfville.

This cafe is iin downtown wolfville and has a nice sidewalk eating area. Had the signature donair on the menu and it was very good. This meal was served as a Pita roll up wrapped in foil (like a baked potatoe).Donairs are the official food of Halifax, but are available ina most of Nova Scotia. Youe need to try these when you visit the Province.

We just decided to try this location for lunch. The chicken and cranberry sandwich on freshly made bread was excellent. The cabbage and feta salad was also very good. It is a very cosy place with a lot of regulars! And oh yes, very good service.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Fish and Chips did not taste like haddock. Only 4 others there when we arrived. Service wasn't the quickest. The beef dip sandwich said it came with a juice, but was served with some type of gravy. The breakfast ordered was okay, but nothing exciting. The pregnant girl seemed to be the only one busting her butt working. The looks of the place are wonderful, bathrooms were cold and dirty.

Went to Jungle Jims for Brunch. Where to start? Cold coffee, 30 min wait after ordering. Below average meal. This place is usually decent for lunch or dinner but not for brunch.

We went on a Friday night, it appeared busy but there was no wait, although they cleaned our table after seating us. It took a long time just to place our orders, and a long time to get the food. Waitress was nice, but inattentive. My husband ordered scallops and pasta, and it was not hot, the scallops were under-done. The chicken sesame seed salad I had was pretty good.
