Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Always impressive when the service staff great you professionally at the door, remember the table orders and deliver the correct dish to the correct person. Das Le Clochard befindet sich im Keller des City-Centers und ist eine urige gemütliche Kneipe in der zum Glück noch gute alte Rockmusik läuft.Ab und zu spielen am Wochenende Cover-Bands, dann ist das Le Clochard brechend voll und man bemerkt das gröÃte Manko am deutlichsten:Keller + Zigarettenrauch + kaum Frischluft = Erstickungsgefahrt für Nichtraucher!Die Preise für Getränke sind im Verhältnis zu anderen Kneipen sehr günstig (2 Euro für einen JackyCola!) und die Stimmung ist immer gemütlich ausgelassen.Immer wieder gern !

Leider ist das Lokal arg in die Jahre gekommen. Verstaubte Fuchsköpfe und Fasane an der Wand und alte schwere Holztische und Stühle. Die Stühle und Tische auf der Terasse sind aus billigem Plastik. Alt und verbleicht mit Plastiktischdecken. Das könnte man ohne viel Aufwand besser und weniger "eklig" machen ... Das essen ist ok. Eher mittelmässig. Dafür war der Service recht freundlich und es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze. Und die Aussicht von der Terasse ist einmalig. Man kann sogar die Skisprungschanze in Degenfeld sehen. Die Toiletten sind steinalt und es gibt für Damen und Herren nur ein gemeinsames Waschbecken. Nach dem wandern kann man einkehren, muss man aber wirklich nicht ...

Abgesehen von teils diffusen Ãffnungszeiten kann man hier aber lecker essen. Bedienung und Chef sind sehr freundlich, auch den Koch kenne ich persönlich, das sind alles gute Leute! Vor allem der Biergarten ist sehr ansprechend.

Very good German and German-inspired food, and nice location near the Heubach Ruins. Very nice nice dining room, done floor to ceiling in somewhat ornate wood work; very pleasant patio, with covered and open-air areas. Great place to sample local beers on a hot July day or try out some finer Swabian cuisine on a dreary fall evening. Only one problem for non-German-speakers: es gibt keine Englisch Speisekarte und keine Englisch-sprechende Kellnerinen!
