Things to do in Gliwice
Do you want to taste many different beers and not pay millions of coins? You've come to the right place! :) IBU is a place where you can grab a beer by yourself by using a self-service multitap. How much do you want and what you want! Come, disgust and di
There 20+ beer taps you can choose from, but to use them you'll have to buy a card and charge it. If you're not polish/don't speak polish and you just want a regular beer, served in a glass, you're in for a treat..! They will say anything to try to force you into buying the card for the beer taps. I was asking for exactly that: regular beer in a regular glass, as I knew was possible. I was told there wasn't any. Next, I asked for a bottled beer (they have lots of them), and imediatly the waiter grabbed a bottled saying I would like that one, but since it was the last one of that kind, I would have to drink it warm, and it was an expensive beer so "really it's better if you just get the card"! I said no, and said I just wanted some bottled beer that was not warm. The waiter then gave up and grabbed a gluten free beer and said "well, I have this one", to which I said "fine". Just watch out, or have someone polish ordering for you, or else something as fun and simple as having a beer with friends will become a nightmare. It's a really beautiful and inviting space, what a shame to treat tourists this way.Hi. We will ask a waitress who was working that day, about what actually happened. Main atraction here is a self service multitap. Yes, You have to buy a card and charge it. Card costs 3zÅ which is about 0,7⬠and you can for example charge this card for 15zÅ (3â¬). It doesnt seem to be so expensive. Bottles at the bar are rather expensive, cause most of them are âspecialâ. After all, its a craft bar. The waitress maybe missunderstood you, because we dont have âregular beerâ (like Tyskie, Å»ywiec, Heineken). So at the bar we have got about 1-2 beers that are most similar to the âregular beerâ. The others are different, like IPA, APA, RIS and so on. Probably it was all a big misunderstanding. We are sorry that You felt badly. Maybe we can fix it during next visit? Greetings, IBU crew.

My brother in law had recommended for us to try it out on our recent trip to visit family. As with most places in Poland we were expecting it to be cheap a decent, we were not wrong. Nachos were clearly out of a packet and salted far too much with hardly any cheese or anything really. However I did not go there to try the Nachos, I went for the burger. After having the menu translated to me 3 times, finally chose the Cheese Burger which was fantastic. Loaded with cheese, salad, onions and of course a pickle (we are in Poland). Meat was delicious, soft, melt in your mouth soft. Best burger I have had in a loooong time. And how much? £2.56. £2.56!!! Come on this came with nice home made salad too and you can get fries for like 20 pence. Superb value for money that you would get no where else in the Europe. Just give it a go and ignore the idiots that seem to think people want to read their pedantic reviews and trivial complaints.

My local business partner took me to Koneser after the dinner to watch some world cup football. The atmosphere is lively and friendly and we had a good time trying out the very wide variety of beers. Service could have been a little quicker, but I have the impression that the locals found it normal.

I was taken there by a local business partner and I was delighted by both tge drink and the food. The wheatbeer is excellent and the roulade with dumplings very good too. Service a bit on the slow side, but it was ok.

Forget the market square... take a short walk... down the street... around the corner... way in the back... to this little speak-easy style brick basement with some of the best beers in the world (yes, the world) on tap and a selection of whiskeys to die for. The craft beer scene in Poland is getting better every day, and this place is a gem in my little city where you can sample the best of what it, and other foreign brewers have to offer. The simply furnished space has the feel of a warm hearth, and the friendly staff are always helpful and knowledgable about what they're serving... no food, but on weekends they're offering up some free munchies at the bar. It ain't cheap, but the finer things in life rarely are... and this place definitely makes that list. Check it out...

This pizzeria is located away from the city center in a residential area so it may not be necessarily easy to find for a tourist. The portions were good but not overwhelming and the staff was really friendly. That coupled with the good prices and the pleasant ambience makes this a really good place for a pizza away from the hustle and bustle.

This is one my favorite bars/ restaurants on thr Market square of Gliwice: despite some disadvantages: some of waiters are not so good, but really depends who serves you. All barwlu speak English. On the weekend nights its impossible to get there for a drink: too mamy people; some tables/ chairs are not comfortable enough for having a dinner. Plus points: big choice of food and salads, good soups, good beer, inexpensive prices and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.Recommended!

Szynk na Winklu is more a pub than a restaurant. It does well serving different beers. Unfortunately the food is very unhealthy and greasy. The service is most of the time just bad. Skip eating there. Might be a decent place for a beer, but honestly there are much better spots in Gliwice. The whole place is very dark, unclean and looks like a bat cave.

The pizza is really good. Also the soup and the juice. The restaurant is actually not so easy to find and the waiter was a bit too relaxed. The food came really fast but then the waiter disapeared so I had to chase him when I wanted something more.Anyhow this is not a five star restaurant so you can accept this but the food was really good and once again in my opinion the pizze is the best in GliwiceNiezmiernie miÅo byÅo paÅstwa goÅciÄ w naszym skromnych progach.Mamy nadziejÄ Å¼e przy każdej wizycie w Gliwicach bÄdÄ nas paÅstwo odwiedzaÄ.DziÄkujemy miÅÄ recenzjÄ i zapraszamy wkrótce
