We have been going to Huddyâs for over 20 years, one reason is because there are very few restaurants in Colts Neck. We do enjoy eating at the bar, bartenders are always friendly and efficient. You have to know what to order, you are usually safe with a salad. Other meals we have tried have come out of the kitchen cold or not fully cooked. Some meals that have gravy Are drenched in the gravy. The manager never makes eye contact with anyone, and certainly has no idea we have been long standing customers, which has become a family joke.. I would never go out of my way to go here or recommend Huddyâs, itâs just convenient

My wife and myself went for lunch here. We always went to the Hamilton, New Jersey location since there were no Texas Roadhouse locations near us. We road by them one day and discovered the Howell location. Our lunch was really enjoyable with our waitress Morgan who was friendly, fast and helpful. Food was tasty and hot and came out fast. We met the Manager Jennifer Chiapuzio who was so friendly, hard working and so helpful. Jennifer helped us with our Texas Roadhouse member program. Also the staff performs a country type dance when a certain song is played. The restaurant is very comfortable and spacious. The bar is nicely located where you can view the several televisions. We will definitely will be back since it was so good and close to where we live.

Four of us came here for lunch on a Friday. For appyâs we shared the shrimp cocktail and drunken clams. The shrimp were good, but the accompanying red sauce needed help. It needed to be spiced up with horseradish or hot sauce. The clams were very salty. Two of us ordered fish and chips, and two of us got the fish taco lunch special. The fish and chips were delicious - perfectly fried. It was quite a large portion. The accompanying fries were thick and wonderful. The fish tacos were in need of more fish. There were two to an order. Go with the fish and chips. Our server, Kennedy, was very pleasant and helpful.

Came here as a meeting spot for a lunch with my parents and fiance. The last time I was at MJ's was years and years ago when I was young. I'm generally a fan of some traditional, American bar fare and MJ's delivers just that. If you want high quality, sit down food, this is not the place. If you want to sit at a bar, watch the game, and eat some bar comfort food, this is the place.I went with the buffalo chicken wrap, and I also had a slice of the thin crust pizza. The wrap was tasty and stuffed with buffalo chicken, but for some reason had just a TINY bit too much of a charred taste for my liking. That being said, it was still a good wrap and I enjoyed it. The thin crust pizza was great, and I highly recommend it. I give this place a solid A-OK. The food is good, not great, and the atmosphere is good, not great. Nothing remarkable, but a very serviceable place to grab some good bar food and a drink or two.

Went to Ivy League recently for dinner. Had been there many years ago but donât recall the experience. Sat in the dining area which was not busy at the time. Server was friendly. We ordered the tavern wings -boneless for appetizer , and for entrees the 16oz NY strip and the Wharf side combo. The tavern wings were brought out and left quickly on the table - they were not the boneless type. Called the server back over and advised we ordered boneless. They were taken away and replaced later. The entrees were brought out. The steak was good but not much seasoning at all. The wharf side combo was ok but a bit over cooked and again not much flavor. For desert we ordered the peanut butter pie. It was more like a cake than a pie but it tasted good. Prices were ok. Decor was nice. A nice local place but food was just ok overall.

With a relaxed, sportscentric atmosphere, a seemingly endless assortment of local, craft and import beers, and an inventive menu of American tavern fare, Brick House Tavern + Tap offers guests a truly next generation "gastro pub" experience. Its flavors a
The brick sauce on the wings was amazing, making this appetizer an absolute must. The homemade potato chips on the side were the unsung hero of this dish. Man, all of it was so good! The fried chicken sandwich was good enough and our server Ryan was great, very capable and knowledgeable!

While the food was good, the honey mustard dressing for my salad was the WORST I have ever had....they used a hot spicy mustard that made the whole salad hot.....the service was just average, and it was a Wednesday evening and the place was not crowded, but it was very noisy.

Woodys never disappoints. It is part sports bar, part family restaurant, part live music on the weekends. Huge menu of comfort food plus upscale dinners. Clean and neat, friendly staff, and if you're lucky you will be there when Bruce Springsteen pops in to jump in with a band. Large bar and even outside seating in the summer on the deck. This is where us locals go. Enjoy!

My boss required that I take a trip into Farmingdale for some business. I went late in the afternoon and by the time I got done it was dinner time. I rode through town to see what was open looking for a diner or some place small but a lot were closed already. I kept riding through the town and came across Mulligan's Restaurant and Grill...a golf themed restaurant. I walked in around 5 p.m. and there were a few locals in there.I sat at the bar and was waited on by a very friendly barmaid. It was still happy hour so the waitress gave me the happy hour menu to check out. There were quite a few items that were either 5 or 6 dollars so I picked boom boom shrimp without the sauce and a personal bar pizza with sausage that was an extra charge. My shrimp and pizza came pretty fast and was very hot. The shrimp came with the sauce anyway and I found to be a little fishy but I still ate quite a few. The pizza is handmade right in the restaurant. It came with crumbled sausage on top. They had quality ingredients on the pizza. As I sat there devouring my food I watched as people filed in and quickly filled the place. Some came in large groups and sat at tables and lots came and sat at the bar. I found it there was a great camaraderie in the bar. Everybody seem to know each other and the staff was very familiar with everyone so it made for a friendly setting. By 5:40 I left so that tells you how fast I got my food and how fast the place filled up.I found out what a name like Mulligan's they did have some Irish selections so I will probably be back to try those a different time.
