In this area on business again and got a warm welcome back to this bar. A fun place to and let off steam. One of the nights we went was a Wednesday with Josh Mather playing guitar - a great singer.

Absolutely spot on service. Meredith was very attentive.Happy birthday to her!!! Food was served fast and super yum! We had the Texas smothered fries, fish and chips, chips and queso, and the 1/2 baked can chicken. Sunday football on all Tv's. 2 bars. Big patio and spacious inside seating. Definite must visit again. THANKS ICEHOUSE!!

Boomer's is a basic sports bar. We spent Saturday afternoon watching the opening weekend of college football. The atmosphere is an A+. I like the open patio under the Live Oak tree. Inside, the wood floors, brick walls and TV screens everywhere make it feel like a sports bar.The atmosphere is where the positivity ends. Service is terrible. We sat by the entrance to the kitchen. There are round port holes to see into the kitchen. I watched the servers stand behind those doors and chat more than they worked. My drinks sat empty while they chatted and laughed. When I asked to see the beer menu, our server pointed us to a menu on the table. She failed to tell us they have craft beers which can be found on the chalkboard wall. I discovered it after we placed our order.The food was bar food. It works for a day of sports and drinking. I didn't care for the liquid cheese on the brisket nachos. The cheeseburger was over cooked and dry. After about two hours here, we gave up on the service and headed to the Ice House next door. FYI - It's not much better. Another party spot.

Shared the calamari and it was still so much. Very good flavor and sauce, a little too much breading but good. Also shared the crab cakes app, also very good. Entrees- I had the tuna, coworkers had filet steak and the chicken with jalapeño honey. All with mashed potatoes which were to die for. Not low cal!! My tuna was nice, served with pear salad which was great. The pecan crusted chicken with jalapeño honey was really good, Iâll order that next time!!We did not have dessert but they looked fantastic and huge!Great service, great wine list, white tablecloth atmosphere but reasonable prices for this kind of food. Will go back!

Staying at Holiday Inn without a vehicle pretty much limits dinner options. Had a wrap on fits night, whereas waiter an I could barely hear each other due to noise level. Accoustics are terrible.Waitstaff at dinner was great, but significant understaffing was evident. Wrap one night, with a bourbon sirloin the next were both very good.Breakfast staff was not too friendly.

Came here for a work/ networking event, and had some friends in the area that stopped by. The bar staff was friendly, and efficient, and the place was spotless. We sat at the bar, and watched football, and ordered mostly draft beers. We didn't eat, but the others around us seemed to enjoy their food. We played a variety of games, and had a blast. Will definitely return.

We stopped in here for a pint night. This is my second time visiting. The 1st was on a Sunday and as the other reviews say food is not available so that was a bummer. Do not let the fact that this is a gas station deter you. This is a brand new location and is super clean. Plus the bar area is completely away from the convenience store area. The craft beer selection is awesome for draft and bottles as well as growler fills to go. We also had an xlarge pizza split between meat lovers and vegetarian. Both parties came away happy. They also have BBQ if Italian is not your thing. The prices were good on the pizza and the beer. Definitely come in with an open mind and you will not be disappointed.

Always exciting to try somewhere new, away from the usual. It was easy to find and park. Decor was nice and modern. Menu had some nice variations. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good and portions generous. Altogether very happy, I would prefer to come for dinner, rather than lunch, maybe next time.

Had lunch there and the menu is comprehensive..the onions rings are fabulous.The ambience is distressing!It is dark it needs a very serious upgrading...it looks OLD for an old crowd..the enclosed patio is a perfect setting IF the room itself was in ANY way attractive or appealing..brown is NOT the color a golf club dining room should be..someone really should make it have a more modern personality ..staff is friendly.
