The food is very good and itâs definitely cooked with loads of attention from the chef. And the price is right. Yummy food at the right prices and generous portions.Good variety and lovely deserts.Ambience and decor? Needs much improvement
Setting the scene - October long weekend, Monday night 6.30pm - we decide that we don't want to cook and feel like a relaxing evening in front of the television. Our regular pizza take-away is closed so we look up other options - Cesars Pizza is open, so we look at the menu, they have a special - 2 pizza's for $20.90,We call to make sure they are open and order the pizza's - they will be ready in 30 minutes. We arrive at the store 30 minutes later - not quite ready.....and 10 minutes later I walk out with 2 hot pizzas - A Marinara and a Chicken Supreme. We arrived home about 10 minutes later and served the food.....omg...we look at each other in disbelief - where is the flavour????There is quite a bit of topping on the Chicken Supreme pizza but absolutely no flavor....it has almost no sauce whatsoever on it. We get BBQ sauce and mayonnaise to drizzle over the pizza - this makes it a bit tasty at least and just edible. The Marinara pizza has 1 prawn per slice - really..what a joke, again, it is very basic and tasteless....it was a little better that the chicken pizza but not by much. After much deliberation, I decided to call the store and give some feedback.I spoke to a staff member and told him that I was unhappy with the quality of the pizza's, he became abusive and refused to refund, telling me to "F" off.I will never ever go back to this or any store affiliated with this one.So, unless you are happy with a product that can be bettered by any frozen product from your local supermarket, go elsewhere, there are many other better options available in this general area.Hopefully the word will get out about the poor food and disgusting service and, touch wood, this place will close down forever. These people could probably even ruin the taste of a sausage in bread.Abysmal.
We "used to" regularly order the family pizzas from the vale's pizza bar. Pizzas were good.However.....3 strikes and your out!We state "no anchovies " on our pizzas when ordering. Yet always seem to get them on there. Last three times we've had pizza, always had them added! It's almost like a joke!Sorry - won't be back any more!

Here you will find a unique and laid-back beachfront cafe with table service. Enjoy the extensive Mediterranean style menu, paired with craft beer, local wine or espresso coffee. Relax and unwind at Moana beach.
We chose this place as it was near our place of stay, near the beach and are opened for dinner at 5 pm. We parked our car opposite the DeepBlue Cafe and walked into the blue color building . Restaurant is cozy and warm on such a wet and cold evening . Service does give us some warm feeling too ( after reading some reviews of negative service) We have seafood basket , vegan curry , lamb roast and Goulash.Seafood basket is good except the fish taste not so fresh . Squid is soft and tender. Prawn is fine . Vegan curry is good with rice Would recommend if you are around the area.

Oscars is located in the heart of McLaren Vale and prides itself on offering a relaxed dining experience while serving delicious and fresh food, accompanied with our local wines, beers and ciders. â Oscars offers an extensive Mediterranean style menu that
Oscars is not "fine dining", as some of the other reviewers might have expected. It is more in competition with the local pub, providing solid, hearty food with a friendly service. That's exactly what we were after. The flatbread was flat and not too yeasty nicely covered with rocket and pear. All ingredients were fresh and nicely presented. Service was a bit on the slow side but very friendly. And yes, we had as well the experience that after our mains we felt a bit left alone. The short blacks were however as they should be.

We celebrated a few family birthdays and as we were a large group, we had a set menu.It was fantastic! You will not leave this place hungry! The wine was delicious, the service was fantastic and the views and surrounds are tranquil and picturesque.Highly recommend visiting we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Closing before your published opening hours only ever leads to a negative consumer experience. I have twice driven to this venue to be told on entering that the oven is not operational due to lack of customers. Needless to say, we won't be trying a third time.We regularly stay open way after closing time for guests who have joined us for dinner. Similarly weâve opened early for many customers on multiple occasions. Iâm sorry you waited until 5 min before closing time to want to order. Itâs impossible to, prepare, cook and serve inside a reasonable time.
