Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. A stronghold of Mayan culture, San Cristóbal’s colonial stucco walls and Spanish tile roofs contrast with the surrounding villages, which remain home to an array of Mayan-descendant Indians. The city itself is a delight. Paired with the cultural diversity surrounding it, there’s nothing like it in Mexico.

We went to this restaurant on recommendation from a local resident. If we had just been passing it is unlikely we would have ventured inside. The food is very good. Mixed bruschetta is plenty for two, and the past was freshly cooked and well flavoured. The wine was fine, the service was very willing but lacking in training. Only one other couple ate here in the time we were there. With a little attention to such things as lighting, table cloths and napkins, etc. this would attract a lot more visitors, and be a more vibrant place.Unusually for Mexico, there are unable to serve margaritas.

Tasty pizza and great atmosphere!! Wood fired pizza oven Pizzas are thin and super crispy - toppings are also juicy and not dry aqt all.The atmosphere is great; lots of different type of people, musicians come in throughout the night and the restaurant stops their music while they busk.Friendly wait staff. It's quite casual, people laughing and playing with the uno cards provided.Bring a jumper as they don't close the doors and it can get quite chilly... but all the worthwhile.Bruchetta is also yum - def add the spicy condiments

Okay, so I have never been served a salad in a bread bowl before, but after trying it at Il Borgo, I have to say I kind of like it - but perhaps that is just because their bread was so good. OR perhaps it was because we had to wait an insanely long time for the food, so much so that by the time the food arrived I think I would have eaten just about anything. Thankfully, they at least provided breads and a couple dipping sauces, one red and one green, to hold us over until our orders came out of the kitchen. The dips were out of this world! So much so that we continually passed them around the table, debating which was better, until there was not so much as a drop left of either. Wish I could have bottled them up and taken them home!

Reasonably priced, great location and good service. Mostly pizza and pasta. I didn't see the ravioli mentioned by others (but I didn't ask) The entrada con verduras del dia was flavorful and assorted. The puttanesca was delicious. I would recommend and will be back!

The drinks (sangria and Jugo de piña) were just not good. The glasses were filthy and one of them even had lipstick on it. So i told them. They brought the same glass back, and there was still lipstick on it. So i asked for another glass. No apologies whatsoever. I can come around with my Spanish pretty well, here the waitor did not do any effort to communicate nor help me understand. The pizza was very good. Lotâs of beggars coming to the table. not a cheap place.

I have no idea why or how this place is rated so high. We shared the Fantasia salad and a pizza. Both were terrible. The salad was meant to be an arugula salad, but it was served almost entirely with lettuce along with 2-3 arugula leaves. It was also meant to have avocado, but only had time little specs. The pizza was even more disappointing. It was advertised as having Parmesan cheese, but in reality had some cheese I could not identify as a very thin layer in the pizza, with a few tiny pieces of Parmesan. The pizza lacked taste, any spices, vitualla no cheese, and no tomato base at all. The tomato was provided as a side dish that you simply added to the pizza. It was dry, lacking much substance, and was tasteless. We would never eat again at this restaurant. There are loads of choices in San Cristobal, and La Bella Napoli does not deserve to grace such a high rating.

Eurolatin food composed by salads , cheese fondue , Tapas and crispy pizzas in thin stone oven with Mexican recipes, South American and European style. The dessert selection also retain globalized style. All in a simple , warm and unpretentious atmosphere
We went on the recommendation of our favorite chef at Restaurant Lum. We trust her taste implicitly. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the restoration from whatever the building had been was tasteful and creative. The service was excellent and the owner/chef, who came out to chat, was also warm and friendly. We were the only Gringos there at the time. I think, looking at other reviews, that the word is out now. Finally, the pizza was like no other we have had anywhere. The tomato sauce is made in house, slow cooked to perfection, and toppings (we had 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 ham and piña) all look worth trying. The house wine was just fine as well. There were a few other couples but, most clients were families. We will definitely return.Dear Jugodevegetales,We are so happy you took the time to make your comments... thank you so much for this. We really love that our efforts to build a nice atmosphere for our friends and fans, finally is worthy.I hope to have you here soon and have the opportunity to try other specialities we have. Maybe our huitlacoche speciality or Guajillo one... to mention some.... Counting the minutes to see you over here, we remain from you,Sincerely,Krocante Team

At Don Mario we offer wood oven Pizza, different types of fresh home made Pasta, Ravioli, Gnocchi, Lasagna, Salads, Carpaccios, dessert and a large variety of whines.
Highly and strongly recommended ! Perfect location, in one of the main street extending from el Zocalo (center). The food was excellent: fresh homemade italian pastas, with a variety of choices (from format to colours of pasta), very tasty sauce and amazing cheesecakes ! The host is very welcoming and there is a little playground for children.
