Veneto is a casual dining restaurant located in downtown Rochester's East End district. For 13 years, we've specialized in from-scratch, light Italian food in an old world atmosphere. Our atmosphere is upscale, yet casual. The kitchen is our centerpiece,
On the way to the Anthology Theater, we were looking for a nearby restaurant. And boy were we glad to find this little gem. As we walked in we observed that it was somewhat crowded and a trifle boisterous. Those are generally good signs. We were attended to and immediately seated, having called ahead for reservations. Our waitress was at our table within a minute. Talk about outstanding service! We started with spinach artichoke crostini and the sausage arancini. Both delicious! Entrees were gnocchi with vodka sauce and a homemade pollo pizza with pesto sauce. A side of delectable Alfredo sauce was used for dipping the crust. Dessert was raisin and walnut bread pudding with ice cream on top. Venetoâs was a perfect place for a special occasion, and by the looks of those around me, for any occasion. They are passionate and dedicated, and your taste buds will appreciate it.

We went one evening with my Stepdaughter, her Husband, and our 1 year old Granddaughter. The last time there we were being told we were going to be Grandparents. Ridiculous we waited so long to come back. We did not have reservations and they were booked and as we stood outside contemplating next steps, they came out and said they would accommodate us. Everyone fawned over Emmie and she was transfixed by our server. App was an amazing white bean dip. I had the eggplant entree that came with a beautiful salad and I ordered one meatball. Although I shared some there was more than enough to bring home and it was excellent. My Husband has a pasta dish with shrimp that were huge and he was delighted. Our Daughter and her Husband split a pizza and 1 other dish that was excellent. At the start they brought Emmie a childâs cup with a straw. A very urban farm to table restaurant that is accommodating, child friendly and utterly delicious, within reasonable prices. We will be back much sooner this time

The roots of our pizza making go back to the early 1950's in Brooklyn where my uncle Steve opened his first pizzaria on Brooklyn Ave and growing up in my fathers pizzaria on Long Island we learned the fine art of making NY pizza. We opened our business in
I grew up in NYC, so as far as pizza goes im a bit spoiled. And rochester, quite frankly, has quite a few less-than-wonderful pizza joints. But Pizza astop is authentic NY City style pizza, in a NY city themed setting..... big tasty slices at a good price. I highly recommend it.

I was at Panzari Italian Bistro for lunch. The salad special sounded interesting, so I ordered it. It was mostly Romaine and Iceberg lettuces with feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olive, and thin slices of gyro-type meat. In other words, it was your basic Greek salad served with tzaziki dressing. Imagine my surprise when I received my bill for an $18.00 salad. I have had few salads worth $18, but this one did not come even close. The wines are marked up triple or more from retail. Service was pleasant, but not speedy. The adjacent table ordered a second round of wine and it took 15-20" before it arrived. The food was fresh, but unremarkable.

Just had an amazing evening at Roccoâs. Warm and friendly with outstanding cuisine. Donât leave until Mark sings...he trained voice at Eastman. Started weâre buffalo and heirloom tomatoes...so ripe and seeet. The buffalo was creamy and tangy. Then pulpo on skewers. Then pizza del giorno. The steak. Then now vin santo but something Mark recommended. When heâs not doing an aria, the soundtrack is pure blues with a focus on Van Morrison. Could be the perfect restaurant. And your wallet wonât mind a bit. Amazing value. Thanks for making a trip to Rochester so tasty!

I hadn't been in this Wegmans Marketplace cafe before, but it was well-stocked and carried the usual array of prepared food for a Wegmans. I got some bagels for breakfast, but also took out some Kung Pao Chicken with lo mein noodles. I would have rather it was a bit more spicy, but it still had Wegmans quality cooked in, which is a good thing. The entire restaurant (that part of the supermarket) was very clean and attractive. I liked the place, even though it is not "my Wegmans." I'd still give it high marks.

OUR MISSION At Napa Wood Fired Pizzeria, we truly believe the emotion put into preparing food affects its final quality and taste. We strive to prepare homemade, fresh, & creative food to be enjoyed in a relaxing gathering place with good friends and fami
This restaurant looks nice, cozy, and comfortable on the inside. I would imagine, with all hard-wood interiors, that it gets very loud on a busy weekend dinnertime. We were the only people eating there for lunch on the day of our visit. The food was quite good--pear and gorgonzola salad and a Margherita pizza. The undoing of an otherwise-excellent experience was our server, who seemed utterly indifferent to our presence. She had ZERO other customers and was slooooooooow.

Very good restaurant in Corn Hill Landing. Right on the river. Nice in the summer for walking after lunch. Parking can be difficult. Very good food and service. Wood fired pizzas and good pasta dishes.

Gate House is known for its speciality burgers and did not disappoint during our visit. It also has a pretty nice salad selection too. The service was fairly efficient and there was a quick turnaround on receiving entrees
