We ate at this restaurant and had great meals. Typical Italian menu. Family owned, personal service. Nice for couples or singles, romantic or otherwise. We look forward to eating here again.

Wow, we were pleasantly surprised how good and authentic the pizza was. The restaurant name and even the appearance of the place doesnât provide any clues. Non pizza options are limited but not the pizza choices. The crusts were properly blistered and the texture of the crust was authentically light and chewy. Itâs as good as we have had back home in Toronto, where a pizza war has been going on between several micro chains as to whose pizza is more authentic.The only downside is that wine was limited to a house red.. which when served cool was adequate. But this place is all about the pizza!Final note by the time we left tonight, the place was packed itâs Italians... so that should also be a point of support.

We visited Diegoâs with friends for the first time. This restaurant is amazing and so much more than pizza! Great atmosphere, busy but not loud, friendly staff, comfortable tables, truly amazing food!I had pasta with a rich cream sauce and lagostina that was absolutely delicious. Large portions, great prices, the complementary bruschetta was top notch!Great for couples, friends and families, donât miss this hidden gem along Ballenas Beach!

Family-owned Classic Italian restaurant with excellent service and home made food. With a "horno de leña" you should not miss its thin Italian style pizza. Pasta is home made, cooked to perfection and full of natural flavors. If your are looking for good food in at not push place, Da Max is your dinning place!!

La Yuca Caliente is a solid choice for a good meal in Las Terrenas. Great focaccia bread and delicious guacamole to start. Menu with many selections including a variety of pizzas for kids or pizza-loving adults. From pasta to ribs and fish, there's plenty here to enjoy. Full bar for good sipping with your meal. Lowkey but helpful staff do not intrude on your experience. Recommended.

We wanted pizza so we went to another place which turned out to be closed, and I'm glad it was. Service was great. Had the pepperoni pizza and it was superb. Great place to people watch, right on the corner. We will definitely go back.

We tried this lovely place on the beach. Seating was inside as well as under the their sails. The servers were very friendly and spoke English in addition to French and Spanish. The pizza choices were numerous and were quite good served on a thin crust. The salads based on their description seemed good but in case of the blue cheese one we selected not great and just seemed slapped together.

Came here a few years ago with the kids. This time only us. The food is as good as we remembered; the weather this evening far better. Pizza as good as it gets anywhere, but with an atmosphere unique to this restaurant. Waves gently lapping at the beach, sipping our Rosé, and eating great Italian food. Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer a winner. Go and enjoy!
