Visited the Blized Pig and was wonderfully surprised! Met family there and was not sure what to expect!! We order wings and a shrimp appetizer! Wings were good, shrimp was outstanding!! The pizza was also very good!! Some of best pizza I have had in a long time. Service was a little spotty, but crowd and conditions could have been the cause, overall it was not a big problem. There was a band playing when we were there. Band was good, but little loud for visiting with family and friends. Music was enjoyable, just loud!! If you have not tried the Blized Pig, you should give it a try!!

We had a late lunch here while visiting the area. We were seated in the back quickly. There were only a few others in the place. Our server was sweet but was not clean or professional looking, nor were the other employees. The food was just ok with a rather long wait. Our waitress was preoccupied with rolling silverware at the next table and wouldn't take other tables because she was waiting on a load to come in. The worst part of the place is the cleanliness. The restaurant is located in a great area right downtown, so it is a shame to have to give a less than good review.

Fresh ingredients, handmade sausage, fresh baked bread and dough made daily. Not your ordinary Pizza restaurant, we have ribs, burgers, and other specialty items too. Something for everybody. Gluten free pizza's available on request.
If the staff wasn't overworked, I'd rated lower. One cook and one server is very poor management. Girl at counter had to take orders, cashier, answer phone, get drinks, run orders and bus tables... really? You charge $19 for two buffet and water yet make your customer service suffer? There was 6 of us and we had menu items too. Waited 20+ minutes for an order of cheese garlic bread that server forgot to bring. All guests have to serve self and get refills. The pizza bar was full but they kept some food out there for over an hour. Variety was lacking and food was meh.Have not been in almost a year and probably won't be back for another. Too bad because it's the closest restaurant to us.My advice is staff for success or come work yourself. I know the owner was not at work but is taking advantage of the staff.

After waiting 1.5 hours after ordering, the waitress served all the dinners except the four of us that ordered catfish (a mainstay). Offered complimentary pizzas. While they were good, we had come for the famous catfish. Maybe next time! The server was very good and attentive. Pizza was tasty.

Great little place with very friendly service. Aubria went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable, we couldnât have asked for better service. The pizza was really good. We ordered the 17â Godfather, fried mushrooms and fried pickles. The pizza was a little heavy on the sausage but it was still good. It was enough to feed 4 adults and still had several slices left over.

Please go there for the pizza because it is really good with excellent crust. You may have to excuse the servers as they are a bit crusty. My wife's Greek salad was drowning in dressing. Go for the pizza and maybe the beer. Did not have beer. Did have wine and don't bother. It's a good pizza joint.

I think this restaurant is overpriced. It has a great location, nice atmosphere and the service was decent, but they think more of their product than I do. I did not go hungry, but it was a challenge to pay that much for what I ate.

I can't rate the quality of food on this one, because we didn't stay long enough to try it. We found the menu small and highly priced. A 14" pizza ran to the tune of $26 and that was just ridiculous to us. (We come from Chicago, and we'll pay for a good pizza, but that was really out of line for the size/options.) I had thought to get something else instead, but the menu offered only two sandwiches - and they ran $11 a pop. Ham and cheese for $11 was too rich for my blood. (When I had home made ham and cheese, literally, still in my cooler from the morning hike.) A larger menu, with some lower cost options would be welcome. The place looked really cool from the outside, and during nice weather, the outdoor seating I bet is fantastic. But I was there for the food- not the ambiance, and the cost proved to be too much for what they offered.

I thought this was gonna be another run of the mill pizza joint and was pleasantly surprised. Best pie I've had in ages! So, so, soooooo good. These reviews of servers with attitude are somewhat correct. No one was rude (to me), but there was a definite feeling of indifference from the staff as a whole. Regardless, I'll be back next time I'm in HS (I might just get it delivered, though).
