We were staying in Queens in May 2008 on holiday from the UK. Big Johns was just a stone's throw away from our hotel, so I walked across and ordered two extra large pizzas to take back with me.Firstly, the pizzas were much larger than the ones we were used to in the UK. Secondly, they were much floppier which kind of felt better. The main difference was perhaps the toppings. I went for extra cheese, eggplant and spinach. The last two toppings are rarely heard of in UK pizza restaurants, so we were impressed just by the novelty value. But in terms of taste, the pizzas were cooked to perfection. Cost was approx. $60 for two x-large pizzas and a drink. I'm not sure if this place is still open but it was a very useful food stop for the locals.

Piccolo Sogno is owned by Executive Chef Maurizio who brings his culinary talent and vision to each dish he prepares for his guests. We are waiting for you in our italian restaurant near Bayside, in Flushing, Queens, to taste something special.
Lovely family Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Visited with 2 other family members and enjoyed ourselves. Service was great. At least 4 different associates came by including owner to check up on our dinner, pizza, and drinks. Meal was well prepared and enjoyable. Had an Italian dinner two days earlier at another restaurant which cost 5 times more for 6 people-a mistake. Should have picked Piccolo Sotho instead. In summary, great food, reasonable prices, good value, nice presentation, great service where you are not forgotten. Italy comes to Flushing. Will return on next trip. thank you

There's nothing special about this place....just an average "red-sauce" Italian restaurant. The food is good but not memorable, the decor is typical "Mediterranean"....th service was very attentive...the manager/owner was extremely ;personable...the prices were fair and reasonable, the wine list extensive.

We were in town for a wedding. I asked someone that worked at the hotel to suggest a place to eat. He highly recommended Brotherâs, so I went there with the kids. The pizza was awesome! It is very authentic Italian, homemade pizza. Thin, crispy crust. Very busy, as many people there told me that they drive quite a distance to specifically come here for their pizza. The owner and staff were very friendly. We had four slices, should have just ordered a whole pizza! We did end up getting a whole pizza right before leaving for the airport. $2.75 for a slice, $16 for a whole pizza. Highly recommend.

We live in Las Vegas and it is hard to find New York style Italian food so when we visit we have Italian. We order things we can't get in Vegas like Baked claims which were delicious. The bread was fresh and wonderful. My husband and I both had veal francese and it did not disappoint. The only downside to this place was that it was SOOOO NOISY

Years ago, this was a terrific neighborhood pizza place; now its a great upscale Italian restaurant. Prices are in-line with fine dining in a casual Queens setting, but this place never disappoints. The food is consistently generously-portioned, high quality, and always tasty. The waitstaff are attentive, but not overly responsive (viva New York!) We keep going back--its really the best food on Union Turnpike, whether you're a St.John's college student or a longstanding neighborhood resident (as are we).

If you've never had NYC pizza, I suggest you try this first. The pizza is thin crust and comes to you piping hot, super cheesy and salty!! (Perfect pizza combo in my humble opinion) The place is small and you have to stand at the counter to order, but they move quickly and get you in and out in about 5 minutes on most days. Definitely worth a try when you're in town!

Gabyâs Pizza, located in the Fran Hill Mall on Hillside Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard, is consistently ranked year after year among the Top 10 Pizzerias in New York. Gabyâs Pizza represented New York City on the Rachael Ray show to compete against Ch
Scammers! They advertise different prices on their website but then when you order, they increase the prices. Either update the website OR honor the price that is advertised. Thereâs plenty of other pizzeria with better customer service and people skills.
