ok, we did not have pizza here, and pizza is their signature item. we did however have fried chicken, spaghetti and meatballs (not very good), chicken alfredo (wonderful) and a hawaiian wrap of some sort (so so)i never like places that are so creative with how they cut up chicken. this place was a first however to cut the second joint of the wing to make two little pieces, each with their own bone! so the fried chicken (which tasted good) was made up of four pieces of chicken including the little drumstick, the second section cut into two pieces (really!) and the tip which as we all know is not edible we won't be back for pizza based on our experience with some of the food and also some of the other reviews. there are much better places in dumaguete for pizza and much more affordable too
Relax and unwind in our classy little place with great food choices, ice cold beers and the largest selection of liquors and spirits in town or test your singing skills in one of our three large karaoke rooms upstairs.

Shakey's in North America has always been at the low end of the pizza world, and over here it's even worse. Many foreigner expats bring their wives and girlfriends here to provide here and perhaps her family a feast, but it's just not very good. Lots of competition here from KFC, Inasato, McDo, Jollibee and others means that it's in other mediocre company. What else can one say? Many people enjoy these international fast food chains, perhaps because they don't know good food from bad.

The service was great and so was the Pizza! From what I have read pizza was recently added as this was supposed to be a bar with snacks, I'd say that drinking wasn't paying the bills so they added a more robust food menu to include Pizza. A bit more expensive than Nevas, but a bit better pizza and that's with me considering Nevas very good pizza!

Ciao Bella is Italian Restaurant and Bar. We have air-conditioned dining room and open air bar beside.
We ate here in 2015. Under the original owner, horrible. But he is deceased. The new owner has an excellent chef - at least based on one dish, she is excellent, well almost. The dish, mousaka, was one of three specials for the day. All the ingredients perfect, especially the super fluffy potatoes. BUT, she used the small Philippine bell peppers, not the larger. The Philippine ones have a tough skin that tastes and feels like the cellophane wrapping candy. Yech. I look forward to returning to Ciao Bella, but no bell peppers! Oh, excellent desert too!

I have eaten breakfast at many restaurants in Dumaguete; and, as far as I am concerned this IS the go to place for an excellent western breakfast. I had the "Hungry Man Breakfast." Two eggs; two large sausages; a generous serving of bacon; hash browns; baked beans; toasted French bread with a generous portion of butter and jam; and a large mug of brewed coffee (about 2 1/2 cups). I had a second mug of coffee for a very reasonable up charge!

nevas is the best food value in dumaguete city!! the only shortcoming is atmosphere and location which are both tending towards unremarkable, which in turn i am sure helps keep the prices downgreat food, lowest costs in dumaguete, you always take food home so the portions are generous. great pizza, italian and mediterranean choices plus filipino dishescollege student hangout, just out of downtown on hibbard, just north of silliman u

My husband and I live near Dumaguete City and have visited Pasta King at least once a week and many times more often than that. This past May was my birthday. After we finished our meal, I remembered that they give away a dessert on your birthday. I asked for mine from a staff that knows us well. She asked for our ID's and then went to ask about our free dessert. She returned to the table and said that the free dessert only applied to those not on a visitors Visa. WHAT??? You know us, we live here and eat at your restaurant often! Well that did not change their minds. On that day, I said I would not return to this restaurant nor would I encourage others to do so. So disappointed that they do not understand some rules can be broken with the right discretion.Dear Maâam,I am very sorry to hear on what had happen to your birthday last May.I have asked my staff if they can still remember this incident month of May, but no one can recall. We usually have Promos and Discounts, some exampleâ¦One is the âBIRTHDAY DESSERT PROMOâ this supposed to be you want to avail. With this promo any Pasta King Dinners can avail for as long as you Dine in on your birthday. Just let the waitress know that itâs your birthday and present your I.D. with the birth date on it. We are gladly to give a sliced of cake with a candle and sung on your birthday. We always wanted happy memories on your birthday with us.Second is Senior Citizen discount which is mandatory, with ages 60 years old above for Filipinos and Foreigners with permanent resident/visa. You can avail the 20% discount by presenting 1 of any valid I.D., Senior Citizen I.D., Phil. Government I.Dâs with birth date and for Foreigners are need to present permanent Visa, Filipino/Dual Citizen I.Dâs. or Philippine Senior Citizen I.D.Our cashier might thought that you are asking for a senior citizen discount with your Tourist/visitor Visa, this is usually happen to us. Tourist Visa is not valid for discount of Senior Citizen. Our staff can only recall foreign customers asking Senior Discount using I.Dâs of Tourist/Visitor Visa which are not valid to avail the senior discount. This is only my speculation that the cashier and waitress had miscommunication that the tourist I.D. presented was for the âBirthday Promoâ not for the Senior Discount . Itâs a miscommunication between the cashier and the waitress who served you. It was our mistake. I and Pasta King Staff sincerely apologize for our poor understanding and inconvenience that we had caused you. We are very sorry. We hope that we can clear our misunderstanding and we really appreciate if you and your husband can come again. We hope to see you again.Sincerely,Raquel and the Staff
