Even though the food is actually not terrible at Cucina; the service and overall environment however is simply terrible.As I was eating my salad, I found a sharp, broken piece of wood in the food. If this item had been consumed (especially by a child), this could have ended very badly. The response by our server and the manager was pitiful. My wife and I were staying at the intercontinental and we happened to prefer food at The Arcade. It was close to the pool and had immediate open seating. My wife ordered the lamb and absolutely loved it. The manager was very helpful in helping us order and what his suggestions were. We decided to wander the streets near the hotel we were staying in Cairo and this restaurant was recommended by one of the locals. We decided to split a large "funghi" pizza with three Coca-Cola's. Price for everything was about $10 American. Pizza was a little on the greasy side and the cheese definitely a lot different then what we're used to in the states. Unsure of the types of cheese used or which animals milk utilized. Overall small little place but quaint and food was good.

Yummy food.Pleasant staff.Good prices.Variety in menu.There was supposedly a live guitar player during dinner but he was very limited and took (too) long rests between his playing so we ended up hardly enjoying anything. The bathroom cleanliness is good but needs someone to pop in more often to check all is ok.

Had a great lunch at Leonardo at the Hilton. Hassan our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent wine suggestions for our meal. Highly recommend, just keep in mind the service charge goes to the restaurant and not the waiter.
