An unexpected treat and one of the many highlights of our trip to Colonial Williamsburg. Outside the Coffeehouse, the interpreter gave the background and differences between the local Taverns and Coffeehouse, along with how Mr Charlton came to America. Once inside, an interpreter playing the part of a servant of the time gave his view of the era, his family, and conversations he's overhearing in the private and public rooms. In the public room they serve a sample of coffee or chocolate (get the chocolate!!). Highly, highly recommend!

Billsburg Brewery was born from our love of traditional lagers, pilsners and ales and our desire to create a space where family, friends, and the community as a whole could gather together and make great memories. Our brewery is nestled on a 10-acre marina with breathtaking views on the water, just off the Colonial Parkway, and mere miles from America’s original brewery. We work hard to craft our favorite beers and we’re excited to offer our patrons lagers, pilsners, and ales reminiscent of America’s rich brewing history.
Really tired following our hours of exploring the National Parks of Jamestown and Yorktown (which were awesome) with miles of walking trails. Desperately needing relaxation we took a break for beer and camaraderie. Couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision! Had a great hoppy draft IPA and chatted with other visitors socially distanced from us who had an amazing growler that we subsequently ordered!!!

We were seated as soon as getting there, service was great. They took our order quickly & it came out accurate. Manger even came to tables asking how our experience was & offered us a coupon for a free app at our next visit (at our local Fridays since we were from out of town). Great lunch before hitting the outlets.
