I visited Ernie Miller Nature Park the second time for hiking knowing that the Visitor Center would closed during the Lockdown. I hiked the about- a-mile plus long South Trail and had a good work out. Be aware that most of the trail is dirt and rocky, so it could be slippery under wet conditions. The trail crosses a little creek a couple of times, but the crossings were easy to get across. The Prairie grass field is a special attraction. I have toured the Visitor Center before and it is worth a visit.

This park has a walking trail, batting cages, mini golf, a playground, soccer fields, and a swimming pool with a lazy river. Fun for all ages.
