Awesome lake and accommodations. Great to boat on and jump in the water for a fresh swim. We rent vacation homes and never had a problem with any of them. I've been going there for many years and will be going back for more.

A great spot for water skiing, boating, hiking and swimming.
It was 10 of us decided to discover the Deep Creek State Park while appreciating falls foliage. The route driving inside the park with tree and foliages on both sides, we couldn’t help but to stop in the middle of the route for some photo shoots. A place to remember. Definitely will consider to visit this state park again.

State park that has three waterfalls and many hiking trails.
This is an easy hike with a big payoff in terms of spectacular scenery. Go early or late to avoid the crowds.

We hiked here with our little person. Trails were great! Very well kept. We wandered down to the water front and found a secluded spot to hang out! Will definitely go back!

We bring our grandkids to Harrington Manor every year. The park is well maintained by the state. Youngest enjoy the small sand beach. Older kids like to canoe and fish for pike in the lake. Lake is shallow so not much for serious fishing but kids enjoy it. We’ve rented a cabin a couple times. They’re a bit rustic but they’re great alternative to tent camping with kids. Close to Swallow Falls, rafting on the Youghioheny River and all of the Deep Creek Lake activities. Great trails for hiking and cross country skiing in winter. Equipment rentals are available and inexpensive.

Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, the farm currently has nearly 1500 lavender plants with 12 different varieties of English and French lavender in shades of purple and white. Stop by and visit the farm and bring a picnic or stop by one of the local restaurants for a to-go meal to enjoy on the farm. Our beautiful farm store offers a great selection of lavender products including eye masks, neck wraps, body products, candles, lavender jam, teas, culinary products, scone mixes, cookie mixes and more. Enjoy a lavender lemonade while you rest in rockers on the front porch. There is NO entry fee to visit the farm. Prime Bloom usually occurs late June through mid July with color on the fields mid-June through July. Come on down!
We took a quick trip to the farm when we were in Deep Creek. Great place to take photos. They have pick your own lavender to take home and a charming gift shop.

My 8 year old was excited to try the ropes course but panicked when she got started. A staff member named Oray (not sure of the spelling) was extremely patient and helped her through the course. She finished with the zip line and decided she had fun after all and that she’d like to try it again someday! Thank you Oray for helping her believe in herself.
