The museum's permanent exhibitions tell the story of Landskrona itself through the ages, and it also has a programme of temporary exhibitions which includes photographic work.Kasernplan is now an open area with a beautiful flower-lined avenue in front of the Adolf Fredrik barracks, currently home to Landskrona Museum. The barracks were built for the artillery regiment in the 1750s.

The Landskrona Art Gallery is one of the most beautiful in all of Scania, and a perennial favourite of exhibitors. The Landskrona Art Gallery was built as an exhibition gallery for industrial design in 1963 for the 550 years anniversary of the Landskrona.The Kaptensgården Sculpture Park surrounding the gallery features work by 19 different artists.

Around the fortifications of the Citadel lie Sweden's oldest allotments, Citadelkolonierna. The area is also home to Sweden's only allotment museum, the Rothoffska, which was built in 1903. The cottage has been restored with architectural care for its original detail and the garden is still cultivated, now entirely ecologically. The cottage on the allotment is open from 12 noon until 4pm from May -September. The garden is open for visitors during daylight hours, all year around.

The local history museum run by Ven’s local folklore society dates back to the late 18th century and is a historic building. The museum has exhibitions showing the brickworking era, seafaring, agriculture and ancient relics. The entire museum presents a historic view of peasant society.

The Tycho Brahe Museum is located at the site of the Skansk/Danish astronomers compound on the island Ven, in the middle of the Oresund. The area consists of the exhibition in the former All Saints Church, Observatory Stjarneborg, the recreated Renaissance Garden, Idea History Children’s Park and a planet orbit trail done to scale. The remains of Brahe’s Castle and Observatory are fixed ancient monuments in the area. The Museum also includes a store and an adjoining cafe.

Hembygdsgard here was a church owned tenant farm for hundreds of years situated in the nearby village of Norra Moinge. You can buy waffles and coffee on your visit.
