Long time fan of TBell! Remember all those times years ago when I wanted some tacos after a night on the town only to wish they were open late...wish come true and I for one try to keep those lights on late. For those like me returning home late night from work and need a quick bite, their menu, service quality, speed, and accuracy is on par with some of the best. Sure, they may make a mistake here and there, but they always make it right either right then or when I call the manager and they fix it on my next visit. It's customer service and appreciation that keeps me coming back...it's their menu options that keep my taste buds and belly happy. Great location, you won't be disappointed.
Authentic Mexican food cooked and served by authentic Mexicans! There are several El Maguey locations in this area, and they are always my first choice. April 2019 was my first eating at this specific location. The food always comes hot and quick. The service was excellent, and this location has better decor than some of the others. The thing that is nice is that their standards are reliable and consistent. The only negative thing I have to say is they may have changed brands of chips as these were thicker and harder to chew. I prefer the thin chips. El Maguey will always continue to be my first choice in Mexican restaurants in this area!

We always went to the chain Mexican restaurants in the area until our friends stumbled upon this treasure. Now our new favorite place to meet with friends, enjoy the best margaritas, and great food with friendly staff! We love the different specials on different nights, but the food is reasonably priced even without the specials.
Saw this place, pulled in, and got surprised! Owner is a super nice, super friendly Hispanic lady, always happy, always smiling. Been here half a dozen times now, and the friendly, upbeat atmosphere just ... makes me smile. It helps that the food is very good. Authentic Mexican food, no Tex-Mex here. I want my Mexican food cooks to struggle with English! Heh heh. Seriously. EVERYTHING is good here. Service, price, and food. They haven't been here long, but each time I come in, I see improvements in the decor. Smart.

We have been going to this Chilis at Mid Rivers occasionally over several years. They have a nice menu with a lot of choices. I typically get their burger. We sometimes go with friends before or after we go to a movie at the Midrivers movie theater. We sometimes go with one of our married kids and their families. We have always had a good experience with good food and good service. Atmosphere is nice.

Since moving to the area 3 years ago we have tried several Mexican restaurants and only a few have been good enough to where we have returned, we will go back to Chimi's however. Not saying they are the best but we had good service, the food was good, the salsa didn't look like it had just been through a blender and more like red water. We did not have any drinks but several other patrons were while we were there, about 3 PM on a Sunday, so I cannot speak to that. My biggest complaint with Mexican restaurants in the area is that the "cheese" sauce that is poured over the food looks and tastes like plastic. I'm not a fan of this to start with as where I used to live all your entrees were covered in shredded cheese that was melting naturally, not from some saucepan on the range staying hot. While Chimi's had the typical cheese sauce it did taste good and didn't look like a sheet of plastic. We will go again and see if things stay consistent and try some of their drinks too.

The food here isn't exactly authentic Mexican, but it is quite good and won't break the bank. The service is friendly and attentive, the margaritas are very good and strong. They have dirt cheap lunch specials; my favorite is the Chicken Quesadilla. I recommend trying a bowl of their cheese dip with your complimentary chips. The salsa isn't spicy whatsoever but has a pleasant taste. I don't recommend anything with ground beef in it from here, but the steak, chicken and shrimp entrees are all very good.

You could easily drive past Rosies Cakes and Pacos Tacos but you would be missing out on some good Mexican food. It's definitely a place to try out. The place is clean, the food is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and the service is great.
