The food here has been consistently good and the service always friendly. As far as fast-food establishments go, this one stands a bit above the rest. The interior is clean and quiet; the food is served hot and fast.

In Canada, our Taco Bells are getting shuttered. Only the co-Branded KFC/Taco Bell lives on. So its a good nostalgic feeling to be in a Taco Bell again with their purple streaked restaurant decor and a full menu. We ordered the Los Locos Doritos Taco combo which we have in Canada but they have "Fiery" flavour. Then they have Churros and cinnamon balls filled with frosting. Two items we do not have either. The pricing is about the same. They do not have fries and cinnamon twists though. Overall, some items different but just good to be able to eat at an actual Taco Bell once again and visited two lunches in a row.
I get to Helena 3-4 times a year. I always eat at La Casa. Friendly, always good food, and affordable. The only thing missing is margaritas. I recently realized an order of fajitas easily feeds 2 of us. and MAYBE room for dessert.

can't say a lot about it,,as i found it expensive and not worth the money,,you think your getting really something when you get this huge rolled shell,,your decived when you go to check out,,i found out that for the value i could have gone across the parking lot and gotten a good burger 3 times over and gotten change back,,for what i paid for this rolled shell,,plus i wouldn't have gotten heart burn afterwards,,there were a lot of people there,,and they seemed happy enough ,but it was for the social and happy hour type of thing,,,

We were looking for Mexican food in Helena and stumbled upon this place. It didn't look like much from the outside, but is apparently quite a busy place, as it had a steady stream of clientele while we were there and a line up when we left. The food was pretty decent and they served large portion sizes. I would recommend the Camerones Apretalados and hubby enjoyed the tacos (which despite what the menu says, are available every day and not just Tuesdays). Service was alright. Margaritas were okay, too.

Being so close to the border, there's a lot of Mexican restaurants in MT. Most are barely worth it, unfortunately, and pretty generic. Karmadillos is a bit different that way. The enchilada special was so succulent and sauce slathered, mmmmmm, just hit the spot. And the smothered beef burrito was delightful as well. Also, one of my greatest issues with most Mexican joints is that they rarely come through for me when I want it spicy. Like spicy spicy. And these guys have a few sauces that can satisfy. Overall, a real cool little spot set upon a lofty perch. Check it out. Cheers.

Find us on the Walking Mall in downtown Helena. We are on the ground floor of the historic Placer Hotel, across the Walking Mall from Holiday Inn Downtown. We are handicap accessible and kid friendly.
Very consistent. I usually get the Mission Supreme, wheat tortilla, Chicken and black beans, and medium salsa. Usually the small (12"), but when there with my wife, we split one and get the queso and chips as well. One of my favorites around town, and just down from my office, so WAY too convenient for me :) I enjoy the atmosphere and the employees are very good and responsive. Can be a bit of a line during the summer, but that makes me grateful as hopefully they will be around for a long time.

This place is the real deal but be amazed at how fast your meal comes and how much of it there is!The prices are about right and the atmosphere is very inviting. There was 4 of us at the table and we all ordered something different. For me I choose the combo while the others choose either beef or chicken platters which were huge! I might addthat it was so colorful inside and the music was a nice background. Not too loud or soft.

I cannot say a bad thing about this place except I wish they were open more! I live in Great Falls but any time I am near Helena this is a must stop! I'm from Boston so I know good mexican and this is hands down the most unbelievable burrito I have ever had! The Vaquero Burrito with Chile Colorado meat is absolutely to die for! Super nice people, great food and reasonably priced!
