We offer a Friendly and Family oriented environment suitable for everybody. Handicap accessible. WE have a good size portion of lunch and dinner at reasonable price.
Great place to get Mexican food that is right on hwy 27 and near Walmart, Kroger, Lowe's and other major shopping locations. Also, very close to Central High school and Carrollton High school if you want to go on a Friday before the football game. The service is always quick and efficient. This is a great place to eat.

I like the food. The problem I have with this place is it doesn't look clean. The trash behind the counter was spilling over onto the floor. Tables needed cleaning off. Flies everywhere. Floor needed to be swept. It's a typical franchise with an absentee owner.
Where to eat Barbecue food in Carrollton: The Best Restaurants and Bars
My family and I decided to visit La Finca after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. Sadly it was a huge disappointment and didn't measure up to the 5 "star" reviews it has previously received. The food was just typical of your average "Americanized" Mexican restaurant: nothing really authentic about it and nothing stood out or "wowed" us. I ordered a combo with a burrito, taco and enchilada, my husband ordered a combo with two enchiladas, a taco and a tamale, and our son ordered the shrimp enchiladas. My son liked his enchiladas but for my husband and I our meals were just "okay". Sadly it just wasn't that good.
This restaurant features more traditional takes on standard american mexican restaurant fare. Street tacos were good. A salsa bar lets you customize your meal (pickled onions, quick-fried spring onions and jalapenos). Each dish has some distinct flavoring rather than the basic flavors found in other mexican restaurants.

Great, friendly service! Great Mexican food! Finally! Carrollton hasn't had a decent Mexican restaurant in years, but it has finally arrived. We will return!

With multiple "Mexican" restaurants in town I won't go back to Lazy Donkey. Chips not real fresh, no silverware given when seated. One meal came out 5 minutes before rest of food but still couldn't eat it because no silverware, told server we needed forks she said she would bring forks when she brought rest of food. When rest of food did arrive, we still had to ask for forks. Tortillas were not brought with food had to wait about 15 minutes before we saw server again to get those. No drink refills during meal. Had to wait 15 minutes after we gave server our credit card, finally saw her and asked where our credit card was and she said it was still up front so we left table and went to front desk to pay bill and get our credit card. Fajitas meat had no flavor. Just too many other places to go in town to go back here for ok food and not so good service.

Located near the beautiful University of West Georgia campus, the Border is the tried and true favorite Mexican food restaurant in Carrolton. Everything on the menu is delicious while the portions are more than generous. Stop by for lunch and you will find a bargain that isn't be beat anywhere in town!

All the good cooks have left the building. Walked out. No Mas. So management is tending to the incoming orders - and they suck! Service slow. Attention to details non existent. Food over cooked and bland. Had to ask for chips/salsa and water continuously - they couldnât even get that right. Do yourself a favor and just stay away. Spare yourself the 15-20min wait just to be seated during lunchtime!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant and found the food to be pretty good. I ordered the Enchiladas Supreme and some cheese dip on the side for the chips. The food was served surprisingly fast given the lunch crowd. The place was clean and the waitress was fast and friendly. Looks like a pretty cool bar for a Fri/Sat night and expect the college kids probably take the place over.
