I am a few weeks late on this review of the Taco Bell in Ardmore. But upon entering this place was a young man named Christopher who was a delight when he greeted us. This young man had such a beautiful personality and was attentive even after we ordered our meal's. We noticed he cruised around the dining area asking people if all was well, picking up trash and always a smile on the young man's face. I hope this young man is recognized in this company. Staff like him are hard to find! We walked into this place a week later in hopes to see Christopher again, and service was not great...But then Christopher was not there. As far as the food is concerned, Taco Bell is Taco Bell.
This is probably the busiest fast food restaurant in Carter County every day at lunchtime. They have pretty good food as far as fast food Mexican food goes. If you don't have much time for lunch I would recommend getting there before 1145. They have recently remodeled the restaurant and it's pretty nice on the inside. Plus I've always had good success in your drive-through I usually get what I order without any mistakes.

This may sound crazy, but Catfish Corner has great Catfish, shrimp and other comfort foods, all very good and reasonably priced. But they also have extremely good Mexican food. John makes trips to New Mexico to buy the best and freshest Chilis.
Don't understand all the high reviews of this place. I do agree with the reviews of prompt service, food not so much. Chips are what you would expect..okay, salsa was okay, $3.99 if you want cheese dip, green salsa is a guacamole/jalapeño mix. Not a salsa verde Me and wife order combo dinners -chicken enchilada which chicken was flavored good but the green verde wasn't good it's the guacamole mix which I don't like guacamole. The beef has a fillings of potatoes which I don't care for either. Rice has the the peas and carrots mixed in with. Wasn't impressed and won't be back

We ordered enchiladas and fajitas. Both were excellent. The fajitas were especially delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The portions were generous enough that we had leftovers.

El Chicoâs is the first Mex food restaurant I ever eat at in Lubbock Texas 50 yrs ago. Been a very long time since I eaten at one. Taste exactly the same. Was fun.

Be aware that there are two El Tapatio's in Ardmore, so if you are meeting someone, coordinate address. It doesn't look like much from the outside and inside isn't much better. However, the food is good and large portions. We didn't seem many smiles from the staff, but they got the food out pretty quick. Don't plan on sitting and visiting. Seats are hard and the atmosphere is loud and lacking any invitation except to eat and go. Portion size and flavor are the only thing that got this rating. All else would be considerably lower.

Take Exit 31A off of I-35 and head east on Main for a couple of miles. It is located on the north side of road.
I travel to Ardmore several times a year and have eaten at many different Mexican food restaurants in the area. Casa Romo is my new favorite. It's located in a former retail store in the heart of the old downtown district. Parking wasn't a problem when I was there for lunch on a weekday. Not sure how it would be for dinner.During my visit everything was clean, including the restroom. Service was OK. The staff worked fast but the language barrier sometimes made communication difficult. Chips were average...not too greasy...and the salsa was on the mild side...which was fine with me. Menu offerings were typical of this style of restaurant, but every plate I saw was loaded with food. Everyone in our very large group raved about the large portion sizes and food flavor. I agree with them.Although it's located in the old downtown section...very much off the beaten path...Casa Romo is worth finding. That's particularly true if you're in town for a while. I'll certainly be back!
