This is not my first visit but the last time was already some time ago, 1-2 years ago, and I remembered it as very good. And that's why I wanted to go back and so my friends. The menu has changed since our last visit and what I ate back then had disappeared so I took the soup and the pasta a la julienne from the special menu.(see pictures)It was good but not as "wow", not as a nice surprise as last time... shame... but maybe it was just that night or I'm too critical?Anyhow the place is nice and the staff is friendly so I think I will go back if my friends propose it.

Tonight, we went to the restaurant Late Weinschaenke in Meerbusch-Lank. What an awesome place! The restaurant is quite new. Alte Weinschänke is located in a pedestrian area in Meerbusch-Lank in an old building. The building is very well retaliated with a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant, comfortable chairs and nice tables. It's a beautiful mix of old and modern. We had a trilogy of salmon with a perfectly done grilled pice of salmon, a salmon tartare and a pice of Balik salmon. the main course was a wonderfully prepared halibut filet with sweet potato gnocchi and a fantastic foam sauce. The halibut was quite a large portion. Therefore, we skipped the desert but rounded of the meal with a glass of grappa provided by the owner. The service was excellent. I made a reservation for a few days from now and I'm convinced that I will not be disappointed. Pricing was not cheap but absolutely in line with the service and quality provided. Late Weinschaenke is defiantly a great addition for Meerbusch and the North Dusseldorf area.

So the pumpkin soup was very different- very citrusy so that the pumpkin flavor was almost overridden. My husband liked his penne with pesto but my salami pizza was way too salty.Thank your for your Comment. Yes the Pizza was too salty. On this Week we had a new Pizza Baker. We are Sorry about that.

Down to the details: nut-based Parmesan, top vegan ingredients, fresh produce, and the unique, intimate setting of the tennis club, all create a perfect eating experience at Frankâs Live. Out for dinner with my boss. Very good fish, great taste. Maybe the price is not so cheap (I'm Italian, so I just compare to my country) but quality is very high. Lobster soup: in my heart forever.
