Hoteli Gjuetise Restaurant is an oasis set in one of the most beautiful places of Albania, near Kuna-vain Marshland. Besides beautiful surroundings, the Restaurant has an intriguing history. It was built by Italian count Ciano 1938-1939 as a hunting resid
After reading reviews and hearing from family we looked forward to a great experience . The restaurant is lovely and the staff pleasant , however the food experience after the starter went down hill . The mixed fish zgare was burned , the mixed sea food pasta was sparse in in seafood, filet steak was grainy and the pasta of prawns and tomato inedible . Out of 8 people I can honestly say 1 was happy with their meal . Such a shame , I think either offer a menu you can cope with or when you have weddings close the restaurant as your kitchen staff do not have the skills to do both.

We had a great time at this historic site! We ordered traditional Albanese dishes as starter and fish as the main dish. We've had traditional Albanese food before during our vacation, but the quality here was better. The restaurant is in the mid-high range, but still very affordable for European standards. Also it's bussier here than in most other restaurants in the area (there are plenty) mainly with locals. We also wanted to book a room here, but they are still in the process of renovating. They expect to have rooms ready in the beginning of 2019.The surrounding nature is also very beautiful. We've spend our days here walking trough the nature park and to the beach.Thank you very much for you review! We are very glad to know you had a great time here. You are welcome!

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here, every item that was brought to the table was first of all a feast for the eyes, but more importantly delivered when put in the mouth. A wide range of dishes to suit most tastes were brought, no one could possibly leave here with anything but a full stomach. I particularly enjoyed the goat, not something I would normally order. Not to be missed if visiting the region, make sure you book ahead! When the meal is over, the memory will linger for a long time.
Second time coming here now first time I came in October and they do not fail to please me , food was outstanding, the house white wine was smooth and refreshing perfect for anyone and perfect for the fish and calamari they serve as their speciality , and prices for the quality of food was amazing !! Service was also outstanding !! So impressed and defiantly coming back again !! Defiantly recommend!
16/9/19We three British middle aged guys had just had a long walk south along the filthy beach, a swim and a litter pick.On watching the sunset and returning back along the beach towards the centre we came across this restaurant as the first built structure by the sea itself. The sun had set but the colours were beautiful so we decided to pop in, find out how much the beers were and maybe stay to relax a bit (and ignore the litter below). There were only two other people in the bar/restaurant as it was just past the local tourist season and a Monday. The very friendly young barman offered us menus but we were not eating. We noticed a half litre of wine for only 400 so decided that was the way to celebrate another multicoloured sunset. The wine was delivered quickly and we talked with the waiter about its origin being from Albania, whilst the whites tended to be from Italy. He was very knowledgeable and keen to show off his English. We sipped the wine, enjoying the post sunset colours and the local music, which were good. There was also another friendly young waiter too.We left happy, leaving a 20 tip which he was pleased with. We went back to our (unlisted) Queen Residence Apartment.
Sea food restaurant, with a proper boat, traditional Albanian good and Italian cuisine. Wide parking, sea side tarraze, and English spiking staff.
Surrounded by the sea tall bildings nice hotels, greatfull apartments, this restaurat a family owned activity, offers so far the best quality of fish cuisine in this town. Th price is average and the food is well cooked and nice served, love the octopus cold salad, with a nice white wine is what you need to taste the quality on this restaurant. Love the view.

Detari is the only reasonable restaurant in this dreary and rather uninviting holiday town. What is served here is not high cuisine, but perfectly reasonable country cooking, made from good raw material and fresh fish, directly from the harbour (the establishment also has a shop for fresh fish across the street). Don't come here and expect something unusual and imaginative. But in this town, where there's otherwise only hamburgers and pizza, Detari is a very inspiring example. The fish of the day is laid out on an table with ice next to the entrance and the waiters speak enough English to be able to explain what is what. On several visits over a couple of days I tried octopus salad, "mixed fish" as well as mixed salad. The Octopus salad was nominally a starter, but with a very large portion. The octopus was finely cut and marinated in a sauce with oil and tomatoes. It was a very good salad, but a too large portion - I simply couldn't eat all of it. The "mixed fish" was a selection of three different kinds of fish, fried and served with a peppery sauce (somewhat resembling the classic Balkan ajvar). I don't know what kind of fish it was, but at least one was a flat fish resembling sole. The quality of the fish was very good, but the hard frying wasn't really necessary. Fish should be fried on relatively low temperature and it isn't necessary to fry until there is a hard crust on the surface. The cook should learn to experiment with lower temperatures and shorter frying time. The mixed salad was again very large, with perfect, finely cut green salad, excellent tomatoes, cucumber, olives and a variety of other vegetables. The service was very good, attentive and helpful. Wine is only served by the bottle, but it's perfectly free to make a takeaway if you can't drink a whole bottle. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated.

Among the most exceptional restaurants, Rapsodia offers comfort, tranquility, tradition and magic moments. Try the unique taste, the specialties of the rich, full of creativity and healthy from our chef. Every product is carefully selected by our chef, or
Seeing so many positive reviews, we decided to give Rapsodia a try. I ordered Menu Degustazione - Mi with fish (with 23 small appetizers and 5 dishes). Everything was extremely tasty, the tastes were perfectly combined. The service was very friendly and helpful (very good explanation of the food),including the Chef Fredi. He greeted us friendly and asked if everything was OK. I will highly recommend this Restaurant as well as Kallmeti Wine (everywhere in Albania, it's the best). The only tiny minus thing: timing between the plates. Sometimes I got the other plate without finishing the previous. But it's only an extremely small thing in comparison to the food and service.I will definitely recommend this Restaurant.
