definitely a different and nice place to hang out and experience the taste of Maracaibo city at night, good cocktails and great music
Top 10 Venezuelan food in Maracaibo, Zulian Region, Venezuela

Big restaurant with good service. Food was good enough for an Arabian restaurant in south America but nothing really special. Could be better. I've eat much better Arabian food in China where I live. Anyway, I recommend this restaurant if you want to eat this kind of food in Maracaibo. Nice presentation of food. Good taste

We came to the restaurant five minutes before the kitchen closed - we, of course, did not know that but the wait staff was so generous and patient with us and stayed late to ensure that we ate. We ordered red wine - just one of the usual wine they had around - chicken kebabs, hummus, baba ganoush, and another item (meat stuffed fried things); everything was so good. At the end of the night, they kindly let us pay in dollars when we -- after pooling all the bolivars we had -- did not have enough bolivars to pay the bill. What an experience! What great people! What delicious food!

Sure, we had to go eat there, to watch the whole city pases by. The resturant looks "old" - not saying 'rundown" but could use a fresh paint, new carpet - but mostly it looked like something from the early 90's Could use a newer / fresher look. The service was great, we had called in advance, and no problem, there was a tabel waiting - no need for that, since only 1/3 of the resturant had people. We aksed for a red wine and the "head waiter" came with a nice Shiraz, so that was okay - aldo he wassent sure of the price, since it was not on the wine list! A "ensalada parma" with "jamon serano, parma cheese and so on..... well, we had 3 small slices of jamon and a few cuts of parma cheese, not starting out so great. Should have been more jamon... specialy if the sell the ensalda with jamon...We choose a risotto sicilana, was quiet good, then came dessert! Limon pie / pie de limon - nice, but way to accid. The piano guy played about 30-40 min and then took a long break.... we did not see him the last 30 min.all in all, a nice place to see the city by night/day - but don't go there for the food.Take it as a seightseeing, if your in town.we spend 640 BsF, 3 pers - shared salad, 3 main dishes, 3 desserts, 2 long island tea's and wine.

Walking in to Antica makes you almost instantly forget that you're in the middle of the gridded street behemoth that is central Maracaibo. Palm trees, relaxed atmosphere, indoor/outdoor seating, and great staff make this one a diamond in the carjacking rough.Above all else, the ceviche starter (served in a cup made of tostones) is out of this world, rivaling any but the best starters in NYC. Great italian thin crust pizzas made as you like them along with the usual expertly grilled meats. Excellent service, and genuinely friendly staff that go out of their way to ensure you leave full and happy.
