This restaurant has a fixed menu with several options for meat, poultry or fish. There are no vegetarian options, though. Not one in the whole menu. The menu is 15 euros and includes some olives, a starter, a main dish, bread, dessert and a drink, for which you get a whole bottle and not just a glass. The portions are large and the food feels very homemade and is very yummy. The ambience is modest, lots of wood and a rustic decoration. I wouldn't mind not having a TV in there, though. The staff is very friendly.I would recommend it.

After visiting the windmills we were struggling to find somewhere open in Consuegra, even though it was lunchtime. A couple of the restaurants noted on Trip Advisor were open, but empty and quite pricey (for the area). We decided that the best bet was to look for somewhere which seemed busy (not as easy as you might think in a deserted town!). We stumbled across La Bodeguita very close to the bus station, which was filled with local families. The 'a la carte' menu was somewhat overpriced, as were the 'tasting' menus - bearing in mind that this was a tiny bar/restaurant. However there was a 12 euro 3 course menu including a drink which we selected. The food was fresh and perfectly fine. My husband had the 'hake a la plancha', although he wished he'd ordered my ribs; cooked in garlic and oil. I chose a glass of red wine as my free drink, and I actually got a carafe of local wine.Very pleasant and a good lunch before setting off on the drive to Madrid.

"Best Tourism Initiative" Tourism Fair in Castilla La Mancha 2011."The Alfar" is an old pottery workshop nineteenth century now restored as a restaurant. Witness simple dishes, flavors and aromas of saffron and wine ... centuries substance where not sit o
We discovered this place when we took a tour to La Mancha-Toledo 3 months ago. We had lunch here and wow! It was the best meal we've ever had! EVERYTHING was superb. The bacalao tempura, costillas, salad, to name a few. If you are in Consuegra, you have to try this place. We didn't know the name of the restaurant but found it because of the pottery workshop and garden. This looks like someone's house but the food is worth going back for. We definitely are!

Cafe, bar, restaurant Florida. Since 1950. Homemade food, daily special menu available. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, special occasions and so on and so forth⦠Own parking and own outside area, free Wi-Fi and last but not least, committed to bring the best
Our family stopped here for lunch on our way from Toledo to Granada. They don't speak English, but we got by with our little Spanish and Google Translate. It was a set menu with three options for starters and three for mains. Everything was very tasty and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. And there was easy parking available.

Paramos a comer en este restaurante por los numerosos comentarios en Google (+ 200) camino a Ciudad Real. Es muy sencillo, la atención muy buena y básicamente es un lugar de menús, pero rica, casera y todo muy bien. Gratamente sorprendidos.

We went to Consuegra to see the windmills and happened upon this place. We arrived before they were opened and they made us welcome and served us early. The food was outstanding and very accommodating for vegans. I would definitely recommend timing windmill visit to hit this place too!

Traditional & fusion cuisine that combines elements of different culinary traditions by the chef Pedro Rodriguez
I visited in my cousins' communion and the experience was incredible. The cooks really know how to make the flavors and textures interact. I tried there the best burger I've ever had, and their "Salmorejo" (traditional spanish soup) was fantastic. If you are running in a loose budget, don't hesitate. They also have a beautiful courtyard to have a drink before dinner. Also my girlfriend was celiac and instead of doing as other restaurants do, and cooking a different dish or frying some eggs, they cooked the same dishes as for the rest but making them gluten-free. Five stars for them, incredible restaurant.
