Reviewed By MolepololeWe stayed here for two nights at the end of a 12-day holiday in Calabria and the Amalfi Coast. My wife and I used it as a base to get to and from Tivoli's Villa Adriana and D'Este before flying home from Rome. It worked out very well. Our room, just below the monastery's church, was clean and comfortable. We did have a few minor quibbles: the shower water pulsed warm and cool...or hot and cold; the shower fitting became detached from the wall, there was no curtain across the bedroom window. We were assured that these matters would be addressed and, in reality, they didn't cause us any problems. A pleasant breakfast was provided in the reception building further down the street. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Because of our failure to plan ahead and discover where exactly the monastery was and where we should park, we got hopelessly lost, despite asking several people where the place was (Veroli has more than one monastery and you can't park that close to this one). So, we forced the man in charge to wait for 20 minutes beyond closing time (19.00). Do not rely on GPS to get you to the right place if you are driving up to the town (and it is always UP!). Aim for the public car park (2€ for overnight parking) just outside the Porta Romana (the town gate on the northern side). Then walk back up to Via Giuseppe Garibaldi where the monastery reception is. Residents can drive up and down this narrow street apparently but we didn't see any cars do so; the "street" is stepped much of the way, with little ramps for small cars! The reception has a map of the town, a list of restaurants and places to visit.

Reviewed By Archi_DennyLocation molto bella e camere spaziose. Tuttavia abbiamo trovato la camera fredda e per accedervi una lunga rampa di scale. Il personale non è molto esaustivo e soprattutto la colazione non è servita in camera ma in un bar vicino, consistente in cappuccino/caffè e cornetto. Sicuramente se si paga per avere la colazione compresa, non si pensa a questo, non è accettabile

Posto bellissimo e curato nei minimi particolari !
Reviewed By poveroviaggiatoreNon manca niente in questi appartamenti, curati nei minimi dettagli e con mobilio ed elettrodomestici nuovi e di alta tecnologia . La proprietaria è gentilissima e ci ha illustrato tutti i percorsi nelle vicinanze oltre alla possibilità di prendere la loro barca per fare un giro del lago . Il nostro appartamento era su due livelli con una cucina enorme dotata di piano a induzione , forno, microonde, frigorifero , macchina del caffè e un bel camino che abbiamo anche acceso per cucinare la cena , due camere da letto e un bagno con doccia inoltre c è tanto spazio esterno per ammirare il panorama e rilassarsi !! Appartamento pulito e ricco di tante cose carine : mobili , soprammobili, cestino da picnic, oggetti antichi e tanti cuori ! Ci torneremo sicuramente magari nella stagione più calda!

Reviewed By Josh BThere isn’t a reception area, so the directions told us to call 20 minutes before we arrived. We did, we also messaged them, we also had Expedia call them. No answer. We canceled on the spot and went to hotel alba!

Reviewed By Maria Palma CServizio pessimo per il mio compleanno non ho ricevuto nemmeno gli auguri dai proprietari il conto è lievitato rispetto agli accordi presi un antipasto di cui si vantano ma non rispecchia proprio il vanto, una grigliata dove mancava qualcosa cioè a chi c'era a chi no invece mancava a tutti la scamorza, alla fine della cena tutti spariti neanche una buonasera l'unica cosa positiva il panorama.......

Proprietario gentilissimo. Colazione in camera. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Speriamo di tornarci presto. Consigliatissimo
