In the need for after work feed and drinks, we fell upon Minatoâs after the menu read so good and we werenât disappointed. The portion size is generous for the value! And the food is truly delicious!! The sushi rolls are incredible. We chose 3 and they did not disappoint. The eggplant miso was just incredible and the service was lovely. We are pleasantly surprised by our experience and will 100% be back! Thank you.

We often either eat in (it is small) or get take away for the family. Service is always friendly and they are very helpful with allergy information.Do check your order prior to leaving, as chatting with the owner sometimes results in an item being left behind.Food is authentic and this is owned by a Japanese family and is not Korean owned

We called up several days in advance to make a booking for a table inside, when we got there on time, there was no table inside and they tried to offered us one outside. No apologies, nothing, just a "sorry, I didn't make the booking, there's nothing I can do".Very disappointing.

This is not a classy Japanese outlet. The selection is more heavy on sushi than sashimi. The sashimi choices are limited. But everything from the edamame to the gyoza and the tempura were fresh and exact. Nice sake choices too. Go for the expensive ones! The service the night we were there were two hard working Japanese staff who kept us happy to the last dish. Wish it was in my neighborhood!!

This is the most popular Japanese restaurant in the Manly region for a very good reason, the food. Yes you have to book in advance, and only be in the restaurant for an hour and a half (though not sure how strict they are on that, I guess it all depends on how quick they are to serve), and the restaurant is quite small and squashy, BUT the food is very good and reasonably priced, and BYO wine. Highly recommend if you like Japanese food.Thankyou very much! Normally itâs only one hour and half, but if you book for 7:30 or later, you can stay longer âºï¸ See you soon
