Windy's Sukiyaki is a casual Japanese restaurant in Ogden Utah. We are loved for a variety of made to order sushi rolls, delicious sukiyaki, homemade gyoza, donburi, ramen, udon, tempura and juicy steak and much more. When you walk into the restaurant, yo
the food was OK, liked the tempura shrimp, but hated the shrimp cocktail. the sushi rolls were average but expensive.on an almost 400 dollar order for 12 people, the one person had a birthday and we had signed up that day for their advertised $15 savings for the birthday person..... they would not honor it!!!! WHAT? it needs to be the next day before we can honor that sale. we let it go and enjoyed our party but said if that is how management treats us over such a little thing we wont come back .... PS, we drove from Salt Lake to visit them.Dear ullrich,We are sorry to hear you left unhappy. Customer satisfaction is our priority, we do our best to serve our customers. However; it is our company policy that we ask everyone to sign up for the birthday club early because the e-coupon goes out on the first day of every month (this is stated clearly on the sign-up page). We do not honor same day sign-up. Right now, we offer a 10% cash discount (no separate checks.) We hope she at least enjoyed the free dessert! Thank you for giving us a try.

Every roll I have tried here is yummy! Good prices and I love that they have a punch card. Go on your birthday and get a free tempura ice cream!

My husband and I had dinner this evening at Koi. They are located in a shopping center alongside I15 off Layton Hills Drive north of Antelope Drive which does make it a little hard to find. The restaurant is clean and looks new inside. We have both traveled and lived in Asia. This is the best Chinese/Japanese food we've found here. We ordered egg rolls as a starter, chicken Yaki Soba, and Sichuan Pork with an iced tea and a hot tea. The waiter and sushi chef both spoke Chinese and English. The food came very quickly and was excellent. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food we received. Even after eating our fill, we have another meal for each of us and at least one lunch for my husband. The only reason we didn't give the restaurant a 4.5 is that the waiter didn't have much enthusiasm for his job. The server gave us a nice smile when she delivered our food.
This Samurai Sams Teriyaki Grill is located inside Taco Time. Our intent was to go to Taco Time, but when we discovered the Samurai Sams, we all ended up having fast food Japanese. The Teriyaki chicken wrap (made just like a burrito), was delicious. Nice fresh vegetables in a whole wheat tortilla wrap. It comes with teriyaki sauce, but it really didn't need it. The Yakisoba bowls are great for the kids, and come with noodles instead of rice. The restaurant is typical Taco Time decor and was clean and organized. The woman that took our order and brought our order to us (Tuesday, June 29th) could not have been more friendly and efficient. All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant.

I came here on an impromptu date. The ambiance was welcoming. Decided to go with the $19.99 all you can sushi and I had a blast ordering roll after roll. The flavors were all there. Fish almost tasted fresh locally caught (if only that were a thing). Also had a very delicious Miso Soup on the side for when I was taking a break from the Sushi. All in all It's good to come and order a roll or two. Or if you can stomach sushi like me then come with your $20 and try to pound down 3-5 rolls to stretch your dollar on deliciousness.
Just recently opened when my son and I noticed this place. Give it a shot. Had me at the word Ramen. Most of the places I really like tend to be down in SLC. Someplace near by would be a score. It doesn't have to be soooo wonderful that I have a religious experience, just good enough that I will come back. The menu is not all that expansive. Well, that would be a given since it is a Ramen Shop. About six major types of Ramen, but a pretty good add-on selection. There is also some rice bowls as well as a small selection of udon. The appetizer menu is pretty good, though I have not had a chance to try too many of them. Old age ruins my ability to eat like a glutton. That and the nagging I get for eating too much. But it is near enough I can make multiple trips to try other menu items.

There are only a couple of really great sushi places in Davis/Weber county and this is one of them. We try to go over on half price Tuesdays.

I had their Hawaiian Shrimp, now I am not sure why strawberry sauce and strawberries slices made it Hawaiian. That being said, it was very tasty and presented well. I would and will go back here again.

It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I don't know where people are but they're not here. Last time we went turned out to be homecoming night and I swear every teenage couple in Davis and Weber county were here. The food was great and the customer service was great. They need a calendar on their website with a high school date night warning.
