The team at Four Cinq do great ramen and Japanese dishes for reasonable prices. Yes, ramen is the focus but they also do serve gyoza, chicken karaage etc. Last time I ordered the tonkatsu set (Japanese style pork cutlet with rice, potato salad and cabbage and it was excellent.

Hidden away in Palm Court, O'Cha Cha Japanese Dining & Tea offers quality, healthy, reasonable and authentic Japanese cuisine in warm and inviting surrounds.
Excellent Japanese food, very friendly service, excellent quiet atmosphere for dinner and cosy in a hot summer day.The teriyaki crocodile don is delicious! and ditto the tatsuta fried baramundi..both are highly recommended and very fulfilling, we wished we had bigger appetite! Also, please make the soymilk pudding portion bigger, it is very addictive.. :)We will definitely be back again when we visit Cairns next time!

Traditional Japanese street food from Osaka. Dine In or Takeaway.
We are family of 4 travelling in Cairns and saw this shop was quite price competitive so we come and get our afternoon fed.Ordered their deep fried Oyster, Omu Rice and Okonomiyaki. However they are all disappointing.....Omu Rice...the fired rice they used the frozen mix beans (carrot, green beans and corns which is what you can get from the supermarket)..the Chef are not able to bring up any flavours or sweetness of the egg at al...all they will give you is the tomato sauce and mayonnaise , so you are actually eating the sauce which makes it taste better....Okonomiyaki, same story...not burnt but super dried inside out which mean they are definitely overcooked...again topped with okonomiyaki sauce and mayo.... the owner will even offer you extra sauce that you can get from up stairs from the JP grocery shop......The funny part comes to the Oyster as we are eating when they had a delivery, which is again... we saw frozen crumbed Oysters and you know what...we saw them from JP grocery store upstairs ...and again they will offer you the sauce...It feels like the whole dinner experience is about the sauce...In summary...we felt the shop is over-rated ....or maybe the people are happy with the sauce and not the cooking skills and real Freshly prepared ingredients.......If you are looking for real Japanese dinning experience, we definitely not recommended this shop

Ordered some appetizers. It was good. For main, ordered deluxe sushi which is the most expensive one and sushi & sashimi combination which is cheaper than deluxe sushi. Deluxe sushi was nothing deluxe. I was expecting various kinds of sushi assortment, but it was just extra pieces of tuna and salmon sushi. On the other hand, cheaper sashimi and sushi combination has variety of sushi with some extra topping. As I am a big sushi lover, this was very disappointing and felt like I was deceived by the price.

Quite unpretentious frontage but lovingly created sushi with some special touches. I ordered a sushi pack, a California roll and a spring roll! To takeaway. It was about 6pm but chef was still making food in the back. Staff very friendly and food was fresh and great quality

Edamame, karaage, agedashi tofu, gyoza - pan fried and steamed, tonkatsu ramen and deep fried ice cream washed down with Orion beer from Okinawa.Yum. The ramen came in a silky broth. The dumplings were excellent, although the pan fried ones werenât hot enough. The agedashi tofu was lightly deep fried, soft on the inside and served in a miso soup. The karaage was crisp and delicious. The food was just as good as an Izakaya in Tokyo. The service was lovely. The atmosphere maybe a bit more quiet and composed than other Japanese pubs, but this meant you could actually have a conversation.Price-wise itâs not as cheap as Tokyo, but we had a massive meal and drinks for about $65 per head. Pretty good value.Strongly recommended!Dear Andy, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such an amazing review. We are really glad to hear you enjoyed our food and service. We are looking forward to see you soon next time! Kind Regards, Tokyo Dumpling Team

We recently returned from Japan and enjoyed a number of ramen dishes so weâre keen to have some more. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to try this cafe. It was so busy we almost left but decided to give it a go and we are extremely glad we did. The highly efficient system to allocate tables meant we only had to wait about 10 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our ramen and Gyozas. The complimentary tea was a bonus.

We went there on a monday night and it was packed. They took our phone number and gave us a call when a table was free, abut half an hour. I had the OMG scallops and they were excellent. For mains I had the "Mexican" ceviche and my wife had combination sashimi. Both meals were very fresh and tasted great. Washed down with some house sake it was a great dinner. Highly recommended.Hi sharkbait_twoThank you for visiting us and writing the review. It was really busy Monday night .Our hard working waitress work first like a Makybe Diva. But sorry for taking half hour wait.We great to hear you enjoy our local seafood especially yellow fin Tuna from Great Barrier Reef .Hope see you again when you back to Cairns next time !
