The food at Notre Table was wonderful. We went out looking for some different food near nation and found this place. The staff was very courteous and did everything to make us feel comfortable in spite of the language differences. The staff could not speak English but still did everything possible to ensure we made the right choice. We had a vegetarian Pizza and a Tiramisu. Both were very tasty and served well. Also, a special thanks to the gentleman who offered us advice in English to help us with the selection of food.Overall a very good experience.

This family-run restaurant almost has no facade to speak of, yet you should still walk through the door. There were five of us and we shared 3 anti-pasti before moving on to the main course (that's "entrée" to you Americans). The food was delicious, and the pasta was just perfectly cooked. Ingredients are genuine Italian, there's no doubt. We had a couple of bottles of Ducale fizzy water, 2 bottles of a delightful Montepulciano wine, and we finished off with various choices of ice-cream which was again the genuine Italian item, imported from Milan, according to "la patronne" who, by the way, was very friendly and helpful. We ended up at 52€ each, including coffee. Honestly, that's good value for money. And then the boss offered us liqueur on the house! The establishment was perfectly clean, including the restrooms.Highly recommended if you're in this upmarket suburb of Paris.

Located right in the middle of montreuil, the restaurant is really cosy and offers a really nice atmosphere within a factory kind of concept which is really enjoyable (pretty noisy though). The menu offers a wide range of dishes( burgers, pasta, risotto, meat...) we were a table of 12 and every single plate looked tasty. Special mention to the burger with fois gras. A good address to keep in mind for a business lunch, or with friends.I say it again, the room downstair during lunch is pretty noisy.

Il Farniente

Having read previous tripadvisor reviews I’d arranged to meet a business partner for dinner at Il Far’niente so took the trouble of reserving a table then re-confirming a few days before the meal. So far so good. Imagine my dismay when upon arriving at the restaurant – the young man blankly replied that he didn’t have our reservation – also most embarrassing in the presence of a business colleague. After much discussion and persuasion the young man eventually agreed to clear an unused table and seat us – back on track. We both commented that this restaurant certainly lacks atmosphere – no background music, drab posters sparsely placed around the walls and uninspiring service. We both also noticed an off-putting unpleasant smell of drains rising up from the downstairs toilet/ kitchen area. The blank young guy took our orders – good value at €23 menu for entree and plat. We both opted for the antipasti - a selection of charcuterie consisting of 1 slice each of prosciutto, coppa, salami, a quarter artichoke and quarter sun-dried tomatoes each - hardly exceptional. The main courses are almost exclusively pasta based – served in a pot (à la marmite) – not a salad, escalope de veau or entrecote in sight.I opted for the ‘suprême de volaille aux zestes de citron, crème de mascarpone aux truffes’ which was tasty – but the chicken was disappointing – cooked-and-recooked with the consistency of soggy cardboard. My colleague chose ‘Marmite de boulettes (bœuf) au gorgonzola et chèvre fondu’- again the sauce was tasty but the beef meatballs were quite tasteless – more essence of beef than meaty morsels. My colleagues 50cl Cote du Rhone was acceptable at €11.Our final bill came to €59 which was good value – but overall – we were both disappointed – certainly not a happening place with any type of Paris vibe. Yes the pasta is tasty and copious – but if your prefer quality cusine over quantity – try elsewhere.

My husband and I are on vacation from the US. We went here for dinner. We were seated immediately in this quaint little restaurant and lucky for us our server spoke English. We ordered their ITALIENNE salad and the Sardegna pizza, which we shared. Both were great and we even brought the leftover pizza back to our resort. I would definitely go here again if we return to Vincennes.

Here's the thing...if you want something tasty and fresh, you have to shell out more than egg shells right? This is where this charming little pizzeria throws you a curve. The pizzas are DELICIOUS and fresh, and VERY reasonably priced. Probably the best value for your dollar I've seen in France.Small, cozy, so you might wanna check ahead if you can eat in. But they do take away. Will definitely return.
