Located away from the more frequented dining locations in Stockton is The Kitchen at Stonebrier. But don't let its slightly obscure location deter you from visiting this unique and welcomed addition to the Stockton dining scene. This hidden gem is located at the southeast corner of the West Lane and Bianchi Road. It's a small restaurant, with only about 8-10 tables inside (reservations recommended). There is secluded outdoor seating which is enclosed by tasteful shrubbery, and warmed with outdoor heaters. For those diners looking for a more unique experience, a dining table is also located in the actual kitchen of the restaurant itself. There, you can observe the chefs hard at work while you enjoy your food. The kitchen is open, and thus viewable from the main dining room, but your view is not the same as from those dining in the actual kitchen itself.I was here for Stockton Restaurant Week in January 2019. The Kitchen at Stonebrier offered a three-course meal for $30. First, you had your choice of Toscana soup (Italian sausage, potato, kale, and cream) or Roasted Butternut Squash-Apple salad. I had the soup, and it was excellent. Another person in my party had the salad, and raved about it too. As your main, you had a choice of Ricotta-artichoke Ravioli, pan-seared Maple Leaf Duck Breast, or Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs. I opted for the duck breast. Let me just say, that it was the best duck breast I've ever had. The skin was perfectly broiled to golden crispiness. The meat was perfectly cooked medium, tender, juicy, and so sooo tasty. But it wasn't just the meat that was tasty, the bed of farro, with the maple gastrique, parsnips and butternut squash were all incredibly by themselves too. While most restaurants would give little effort to make the accompaniments palatable, the sides could easily have stood on their own as award-winning delicacies. Finally, for dessert I had the Triple Chocolate Ice Cream Pie. It was your typical, good, rich ice cream pie. While not disappointing in the least, it was almost forgettable after having been blown away by the pan-seared Maple Leaf Duck Breast entree. Another person in my party who had opted for the beef short ribs raved that they were phenomenal. As my party left the restaurant, we all asked each other if we would go back. Our answers were unanimous: YES. And not just a regular "yes," but an emphatic YES. This was some of the tastiest food in Stockton. The food being as incredible as it was, also raised our expectations of the service. The service, however, was adequate. The host was friendly, professional, and well dressed in a suit. Live music was being softly played (but not so loud that you can't have a conversation) by a jazz pianist at the front. The waitress was attentive, polite, and not pushy. Nothing was wrong with the service per se, but it was certainly out-paced by the quality and taste of the food. While the regular menu at The Kitchen at Stonebrier will undoubted be different than their Stockton Restaurant Week offerings, if it is just as high quality and tasty as what I ate then it will surely be a hit. I will definitely be back to try the regular menu.

We arrived right on time and were seated promptly. They had kid's menues, which helped keep the kids entertained. The service was spotty. Everyone was very friendly, they just didn't check on us as we expected. Our water wasn't refilled. Neither were our other drinks. The food was ok. Their meatballs tasted and looked exactly like the frozen meatballs that you get at Costco. We were extremely disappointed. The food tasted premade, not fresh. The calamari appetizer was decent. Our friends had seen that they had free valet parking, which would of been a plus. The valet parking sign didn't have a price when we parked, but when we left a new sign said $5. Our bill for 8 (3 ate off of the children's menu and there was 1 glass of wine ordered) was $240. I think that we could of created a very similar meal at home for about $12- not including the calamari or lasagna.

We have eaten here for our last two anniversaries and really love the quality of the food. We both had steaks which were probably the best we have every ordered at any restaurant. The asparagus appetizers are a perfect tasty combination to the meal. We also had great bar drinks. The only downsize is it is in a strip mall and the bar is part of the restaurant which made for a little noisy ambiance. But the food is wonderful.

In today's world eating out for dinner is a $100+ affair. But not if you go to Olive Garden. Soup & salad, plus bread.....all you want. And it's tasty. Our favorite dish is Steak Gorgonzola over fettuccine. Delicious! Tender filet drizzled with a balsamic reduction, $19.00. Corkage is $10. Do the math, that's $50 plus tip. And you will be taking some home, the portions are generous.

Decided we needed to get out and have some dinner near our home. We arrived early evening, and decided some Spaghetti was in order. Did not realize the size of the helping which was quite large. Enough to take some home later. Service was prompt and quite friendly. Will go there again in the future.

We come to Angelina's every few months. Totally reliable experience. Always top notch quality and taste. The best part--the wait staff is "old school"--very professional, attentive, courteous and friendly. And I must comment about the serving size--very large. If you go for the salad bar (which is very extensive in the selection) with your meal, you will surely bring home a significant part of your entrée for a second light meal at home--at least that's the case for us almost senior citizens!

Visited the Stockton area recently for a Heat hockey game and wanted to find something, good, fun, and unique for our family for dinner. We were so happy to discover Waterloo!! Quaint ambiance, excellent service and the food and drinks were outstanding! We visited on a Friday evening and the place was packed but manageable. The staff did a great job of handling the crowd and getting us seated in a reasonable time. They make their own BBQ sauce here which is excellent and slightly different from other places. Believe the other glowing reviews about the pesto as well. A great experience and will definitely return!
