Jimbo's is one of the places almost everyone in Pekin knows about. There really is only a small table inside to wait at but it's not a dine-in place really. It is known for delivering hot food quickly as well as for carry-out. The italian steak sandwich is also one of the things they are known for and it rarely disappoints. I don't eat potato salad or antipasta but my family does and they sing praises about it. I love the pizza from there and they have started daytime delivery now so many of us from work will order and have it delivered and it comes hot and tasty

When we saw Marcos coming to town, we thought, 'oh, great--just what we need--another pizza place.' But, to our surprise we really liked the pizza. The sausage is huge and tasty--you can taste the anise.The idea is pretty ingenious as well. Get a dvd movie and a pizza delivered to you! Or order a pizza at the store while searching for your video.

I had lunch with a friend today. We both had the Chicken Caesar Salad. I have never had one like this before. It was excellent! Lots of specially seasoned chicken on fresh Romaine. Served with the best homemade rolls. I canât wait to take my husband there to eat!!

I absolutely love JImbo's. My family orders from there all the time. The toppings that they use are larger than normal, and somehow, their pizza has a distinct (but tasty) taste when compared to the chain pizza places. Every town typically has their own Italian/pizza place, but this one I think is the best of Pekin! If they were to ever make a chain, I think they'd be wildly successful. They never disappoint, always have deals going that I usually find on facebook, and sometimes (most of the time?) they have free delivery in the evenings after a certain time.

I stopped in at this new location in Pekin Illinois and was very impressed. The service was above reproach, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered the cheese ravioli. It came with lovely garlic toast and there was enough for me to take home for another meal. If you have not visited this restaurant you are missing out.

I've had some really good meals but the last time I went I left upset and disappointed. I had a Filet, it came out medium at best. I asked for medium rare. The waiter who kept calling me young man, (I'm in my 40s, it was not funny or appreciated and became trite after so many times) asked how my meal was? He's not a good listener. I explained that the last time I was there I had the ratatouille and didn't want that again. So I asked for steamed veggies. It was the exact same oily mess that they call ratatouille. Not steamed veggies. So then my steak was about 4 minutes over done. He said no problem and took it from me. A few minutes later he explained that he went ahead and had them cook the pink out of it. Obviously not listening to my order, or my complaint. I didn't eat it, and he didn't take notice or ask why. Makes it tough to want to go back when the waiter is not only condescending throughout the meal, but isn't listening or paying attention. We moved away from this area two years ago, but when we return, a Monical's visit is a must. In fact, we bought some salad dressing to take back to Michigan. The service this time was excellent and food still good and reasonable priced. You can't miss with a visit to any of the Monical restaurants in the Peoria-Pekin area. Wish they would branch out to Michigan.

I prefer craft drafts. Their only choice is Bud or nothing. Size of entree was excellent and I am a big eater. Salad greens were perfect..I had the house Italian dressing which is good. Their warm bread alone would be worth the trip!
