Following the recommendations of locals, we visited for dinner. The mill was built more than 150 years ago and is a wonderful setting for a special occasion. Prime Rib and Chateaubriand was first class. Our server was friendly, prompt and patient with first time diners. If possible, save room for the made from scratch desserts.

We were interested in trying this place after it first opened, but our initial impression from the website + reviews was that the menu was somewhat limited, the prices were high, and you might wind up seated at large communal tables... None of this sounded appealing, so we opted to wait.I was re-checking reviews yesterday, and things looked rather different. After further checks of their website and menu, it looked like pricing was pretty reasonable and they had expanded their seasonal pasta menu to include several items I found of interest. So, I called to make a reservation. They seemed busy and were limited in when they had tables available. I worked something out an confirmed they had smaller (non-communal) tables. We arrived at 6 p.m. and were seated promptly. We initially sat at a larger table (alone) until a small table came available, but that only took 5 minutes or so and they asked us about it up front. So no issue there. The services was pretty good, though towards the end (as the crowd increased) it was harder to find our server. The food was quite good; the pasta dish I had (sausage and apple ravioli) was very tasty. My wife also enjoyed her pork belly dish. I would definitely recommend reservations, as the dining area is a bit small. They do have limited outdoor seating as well.I would consider a return visit based on our overall experience.

Carrabas now has an endless soup and salad on the lunch menu for $7.99.I've never had a better lentil soup than the sausage lentil soup served there. The chicken and minestrone soup are good, too. Skip the Italian salad. My favorite entree is chicken Oscar. How can you go wrong with sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese? Chicken and veal marsala is great as is the Rosa pollo. On the dinner menu, a small sampling of all three chicken entrees is available.Service here is outstanding. :)

Unfortunately the dinner was disappointing. BOTH the chicken parm and the veal parm were tough and very thin. It was a bit like eating crispy cardboard. The Italian wedding soup didnât have a taste to it. On the positive side, the bread was excellent and the tomato sauce was really tasty. Also, they provide plenty of pasta with the entrees. The desserts looked very good. Maybe the pizza and pasta dishes would be the things to order.

Italian meets Greek in this new restaurant. The pizza is to die for as well as the Italian entrees served here.
Wife and I wanted to try a new restaurant. So this is what we choose....Christos Service was awesome and she was very attentive to our request. The food was standard with no wow factor. Basically, the hot bread was the best part of our meal. We might come back to try the pizza this will be the ultimate test and another review.

Authentic Italian restaurant, serving the Peachtree City community for 10 years Owned and operated by Italians, Borgo offers a fine dining menu with phenomenal wine list in a cozy, romantic and welcoming atmosphere. The true Italian heart and love for foo
Went to dinner last night and was completely disenchanted. I have always loved the food at Borgo Italia since I lived in Rome and am always looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Both my husband's dish and mine were bland, and we both had to pour salt on our food in order to get any flavor. Our dishes were supposed to have parmeggiano cheese on it and all it had was a bit of shredded cheese around the plate almost as a decoration. When did you start using generic shredded parmesan and where is the quality "grated" parmeggiano you used in the past? You know shredded cheese at an Italian restaurant in Rome is an absolute no-no! Where was the habitual oil to dip the bread? The sauce was tasteless, and definitely not the quality it has been in the past. The cooks in the back were very young boys who obviously do not understand the art of Italian cooking. How very sad that you have cut many corners and your restaurant no longer has the quality or the pride of the family-owned business that it was when you first opened.I am sorry to hear that you are disenchanted with us but I am not sure I understand why . We use exactly the same products and brands we have used for years . The Parmesan is a shredded Parmigiano reggiano . We also of course have the grated kind and use it while we use the shredded mostly for presentation and salads Ad far as the oil goes, it does come with every serving of bread so I apologize if you didnât receive it, you should have ! The cooks in the back are our nephews and part of the family . I guarantee you that we are putting the same heart and sweat and passion we did in the past if not more. The sauce has been made for about 80 yrs as far as I know in my family with the same recipe and the same San Marzano tomatoes we import from Nocera. I truly am not sure what happened, but I apologize about the not perfect experience and would appreciate you giving another chance . If you have been happy with us many times donât let one visit drive you away from us . Let us spoil you and provide you with the beautiful authentic experience we have always given you. Please ask for Cris or alex when you return and we will make sure your dinner is unforgettable .

This is not just a pizza joint. This is a great Italian restaurant! They serve amazing pizzas and have interesting specialty pizzas such as the potato pizza with sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions on a potato crust. They also have a wonderful salad bar. The Italian dishes such as eggplant Parmesan, chicken Parmesan and Lasagna are so delicious that everyone around you will wish they ordered them. They also offer a gluten-free menu. Wait staff were friendly and efficient.
