Itâs hard to say what was best about this meal - the pizza or the staff. Both were superb! We were welcomed when we arrived, looked after throughout and left very happy. The pizzas were all great, see the photos. We were all stuffed and our tastebuds were satisfied too.We also shared a green salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad, both were great. We initially sat outside, but a coupe of pesky wasps sent us inside, which the staff were very understanding about and moved us inside.A good spot, try it.

During my visit to Lons-le-Saunier, I came to Pizzeria la Romana 3 times. My favorite pizza was La Reine Blanche. If you have room for dessert, try the sundae. I walked away stuffed every time. Compared to other restaurants in town, it's affordable and open later (most restaurants close at 8pm). Not many people speak English in this area so prepare to have your translator handy here as well. Ate upstairs once, it was too warm.

A nice little find, after having checked out various menus of other restaurants, looking for a vegetarian choice. This place was the only to have anything interesting for us on the menu. The service took a few minutes to take the orders and was then quick, but did not give us the impression, she was overly happy, doing the job... Anyhow, everything was correct and in time. The menu consists just of 3 groups: Pizza, Pasta and Bruschetta, which is a big piece of fried bread with a topping (I had aubergine), coming with a green salad.Everybody was happy with the food, the deserts were also just perfect, yet, you are sitting opposite the old theatre and the terrace is virtually "on the street", cars driving by at about 1 metre distance. If you do not mind this, you will enjoy a nice evening with good food and a good service. Not more and not less. Service/ price ratio is very fair.
