Lucia's on the Lake is a New American / Italian Waterfront Restaurant and Bar featuring fresh seafood, seasonal locally sourced ingredients, and an eclectic menu of Italian, Seafood, and Contemporary American cuisine.
This a beautiful spot close to Lake Erie with lovely water viewing while drinking cocktails/wine on the upstairs outside deck. Ideal spot except for wires making it a somewhat obstructed view. Too bad food isnât served up there because not only lovely but quiet. Downstairs in the main eating area itâs a bit noisy and although windows with seats next to them, the view wasnât quite the same, especially since they kept moving the shades to protect those who didnât want the sun in their eyes, despite offering sunglasses for those patrons. We just wore our sunglasses because how often is that view available on a sunny Buffalo evening? The food was good, the seafood very fresh and tasty, sauces good, but the biggest drawback to this place is that the pasta is made elsewhere, and definitely stale compared to fresh house made pasta and risotto. And you really notice the flavorless stale pasta That really disappointed the four of us especially since early that week and the following night we ate fresh house-made pasta in two different terrific Buffalo restaurants. We also ordered the huge bruschetta plate and we did eat that all down. Pricy but decent.
Pizza Hut is a chain that serves the same pizza all over the place. This particular store has a Wing Street, which is kind of unique around here. The pizza recipe was changed awhile ago and we don't like it as much as we used too. It was like Domino's & Pizza Hut switch recipes ! Still it isn't bad but there are plenty of good pizza places just up Legion Road in the village. They do offer lots of wings though . . .
There were four of us for dinner. I had the special, breaded chicken with a red pepper, cheese, cream sauce. It was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh and came with blue cheese dressing on the side. Drag Racer #1 had Braciole and loved it. Drag Racer #2 and wife had the Fettucine Alfredro, always a winner .And of course, yummy cannoli's for dessert. Service was professional and attentive. The chef came over check on us, which is always appreciated. This restaurant is cozy, quiet and comfortable. Nice location, easy to get to. We will be back.

Randomly selected this restaurant for dinner on a road trip last weekend. Started having misgivings as soon as we entered, the dining area is very cluttered and dated. We were seated and then waited almost 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring beverages. (I'd have left, but our daughter was mortified at the thought and begged us to give them 2 more minutes.)Our server turned out to be the granddaughter of the owner and she seemed largely unconcerned with our experience. The food took quite a while to come out, but was fairly good. Portions were gigantic; frankly I'd have appreciated lower prices for more reasonable portions, especially since taking it to go was impractical for a road trip. Our daughter had the Fettucine Alfredo and enjoyed it, I had a basic pizza since that seemed safest and turned out to be quite tasty, and my husband had the lasagna which he found to be only ok. Other servers seemed more competent and engaged, so perhaps we were just unlucky, but even if we were in the area again, we wouldn't bother.

Went for Sunday brunch was disappointing. The waitress told us they reduced the price and reduced the food selection. If you want bacon you pay extra. The brunch was eggs, sausage, french toast, home fries, biscuits and gravy, they did have a salad bar. Homes fries awful way over cooked. The waitress told us to help ourselves to coffee however she came around and refilled our cups. Our waitress was very nice but the brunch not all that great. I would rather pay a little more and have a better selection of food.
