This is a small place with a limited menu but the food is excellent. Three of us had pasta and the fourth had a salad and all were prepared to order and were fresh and delicious. My only small quibble is that there was too much tomato sauce on my pasta, but I was raised in an Italian household and Italians do not like a lot of sauce (unlike Americans). But the pasta was perfectly cooked and we all enjoyed our meal.

I'm absolutely in love with this place! My boyfriend and I stopped by for an early dinner. The restaurant is small, but so charming and warm. The corner in which we were seated, had what i believe were local artists pieces on the walls. I loved that, it gives you a sense of community. The service was great, we were greeted immediately. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food itself was delicious! 10/10 recommend the garlic bread. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time here, and will absolutely be back!

Small restaurant with seven tables and counter but good food and service. We enjoyed some appetizers and wine then shared pizza. Food was a sty, hot and the service was good. Topped off the meal with a Nutella cream puff. Casual place for a evening meal. Would be happy to return.

Already recognized as one of Baltimore's best new restaurants, Cosima highlights the fresh Mediterranean cuisine of Sicily and captures the authentic essence of traditional Southern Italian flavors through its menu and unique cocktails. Tucked along the J
Went here last night for dinner. Like all the restaurants in this area, it is a little hard to find, and the valet parking takes a leap of faith to go down hill on a skinny driveway with poor signage, but once you arrive it is worth the effort. Fairly large industrial space that is not cramped. Nice decor and friendly, professional staff. We had cocktails, which unlike many restaurants actually poured a real drink, not the measured 1-1/2 oz pour. My wife started with the pork belly which may have been slightly overcooked, and I had the special grilled sardines, three huge whole pieces of fish expertly grilled served with toast points. My wife had the ravioli, which is one very large ravioli with a soft boiled egg which when cut into creates a rich velvety sauce. I had the pork loin wrapped in pork belly. It was huge, served with a mound of brussel sprouts. Decadent and really tender. Could only eat half of it, so there will be plenty of leftovers to eat today. No dessert, to full. Prices are on the high side for many of the dishes with dinner for two including drinks and tip close to $200.

Authentic Venetian style Italian cooking featuring local produce as well as being one of the only restaurants in little Italy that can say that 100% of our pasta is home-made fresh in house, which includes gluten-free and vegan pasta which allows us to ac
Business trip and leaving the next day so we didn't want a lot of leftover food. Very accommodating 1/2 orders and terrific, homemade pasta and locally-sourced foods. Wednesdays are half-priced wines. Magnifico!
We stop here from time to time for lunch while we're at work. The lunch lines are always long, but the food is great. This is a classic Italian deli type restaurant where the cook staff are yelling back and forth to each other and working to get orders in from the customers. Its somewhat frantic at lunch, but that really is part of what makes this place unique and awesome. The food is always great and ordering two pieces of pizza will probably require a "to go" bag. Their slices are massive.

We took our 11 and 13 year old grandsons to Birroteca last night. Though there's a kid's menu, I'm not convinced that this is the place for younger guys. However, that being said, the food was great. We had meatballs and calamari as appetizers--and yes, the older grandson ate them too and loved them. We had two pizzas--cheese with a pepperoni substitute and the spiced fennel. They were great. They were incredibly busy for a weeknight, but I guess the holiday season brings folks in.It was noisy and crowded. We had to 'bump' some diners getting to and from our table. But the experience was enjoyable. I asked the waitress to bring me a glass of 'not to acidic' red wine. She made a great choice. We'll be back. There were some parking spaces for handicapped parking and a door with ramp access. However, our table was not in that part of the restaurant and we had to walk down a few steps. If a person were wheelchair bound, this could be difficult and embarassing. Thanks so much for taking the time to give us some feedback. We appreciate you coming to check us out. Your shout out to the food and service was most appreciated. If you are bringing handicapped friends or family next time, there is an access ramp at both entrances so you may avoid any steps. I have shared you comments with the Chef & the staff as well. We hope to see you back soon. Cheers!Joshua LewisGeneral ManagerBirroteca Baltimore

This was a great find in a locale rich with fast food restaurants. The food was good, but was disappointed that it is not full service.

8/6/19Riccardo, you did it again! You continue to WOW us with your creative Restaurant Week menu. You set the bar very high, and you never disappoint. It was such a pleasure to introduce our friends to Sotto Sopra. We came twice, for lunch and for dinner. Derick was our server for lunch. It is always so welcoming and such an attentive server. Our lunches were just amazing â delicious and beautifully plated. We enjoyed two Boston Lettuce Salads, Fried Calamari and P.E.I. Mussels â such a great start. Our main courses were 3 Honey & Lavender Salmons and your Omelet of the Day. We all agreed it was just the best lunch.8/12/19 Then we came back for dinner last Monday. Your staff is just the best. We were warmly greeted by Lindsay, Patrick and Dave. Dave took excellent care of us. We again brought friends who had never previously dined at Sotto Sopra. They were so impressed with the décor of the dining room, the quality of the food and the service we received. We started with two Goat Cheese Salads, a Caesar Salad and the Fried Artichokes. We were off to a delicious start. Our entrees were Creamy Carbonara alla Sotto Sopra, Short Rib Ravioli, and two Pollo Ripieno. For our sweet ending, we savored the Gelato and Sorbetto of the Day, Apple Strudel, and Mascarpone Cheesecake. We were all thrilled with our dinners - thank you so much for participating in Restaurant Week.
